As someone visiting from Texas.. I'd say this was a nice Walmart.. the workers are pretty helpful. It's so nice to see actual greeters at the doors again.. i thought Walmart did away with them.

I stopped in to pick up a couple of things I needed. This store is huge and very clean. I was able to find everything I needed and check out at the self check out with no problem. It was a very nice experience!

June 27, 2024 thursday.
Auto center Walmart Alamagordo.
Exceptional tire service by Bobby. Seth (supervisor) on the other hand extremely rude, and to put it plainly, lazy. Seth refused to provide any type of service to me and my family. We needed a tire, went to Walmart auto center for a blow-out we had while on the road. Seth stated "oh, no We are not able to change out that tire due to Safety Stability issues..." and walked away. So, still needing a tire I got my truck jack and took the tire off myself. Imagine being parked right infront of the Walmart Auto Center using your own jack, doing the employee's job in 90° weather.... I spoke with Sam (coach leader) when I asked for the store manager (I wonder where he was?") I asked Sam if he thought it was a safety concern having a tiny truck jack under my camper vs the 3 1/2 ton jack that walmart had? He agreed that using my jack was not safe. He too just apologized and walked away. Sad to say this was not a good experience..

There was price on item of $8 on clearance but it rang up$17, I call an employee over and she tried to override it. It would not let her so she called over a other employee. She had to beg other employee to come over. It was not a good look for a store for one employee to be eager to help and another one to begged to help.

Went for headphones, got stalked by theft prevention instead, bought somthing else all together and looked suspicious intentionally one I noticed the idiot following me around the store. How exactly do you expect me to steal somthing that's behind glass?

Don’t buy anything from here expecting price match to the app or to be able to refund same day. I bought something and asked for it to price matched. they didn’t do it, and even when I went back and tried at customer service they said they can’t even though the app said sold by Walmart. I asked for it to be refunded because it was a $60 over change and apparently they can’t even do that because their system can’t find the transaction for up to 24 hours.
