Today was the first and last day I will step foot in this ace hardware store. A member of their staff (David) came up to me and we had a seemingly pleasant conversation. Moments later, as I was walking to the tools, David began pointing at me and was telling the other employees that I didn't know what I was doing (not those words ver batim). I put all the items in my cart back and left the store. I pat David on the shoulder and told him it probably wasn't a good thing to talk negatively about your customers while they were still in the store. He smiled at me, and I left. If employees can't act professionally in front of customers then I would rather take my business elsewhere

Nice folks determined to be helpful and are knowledgeable at our ACE HW store. Yes, they really give the extra effort, and should the item you require not be available now or...(?) They will help you find it else where.

I had a coupon to get 7 off, a purchase of 20.00 off regular priced items. The coupon did not work. 3 employees came up to the register and not one of them attempted to figure out why I could not use it. I tried to purchase more items and nothing worked. I won’t be back, don’t offer coupons and not have anyone at your store be trained on how to process these worthless coupons from your Ace store. What a waste of time.

Went to grab water softener seen 5 employees. I approach the group of 3 we're in the middle of a conversation ask if the could point me in the direction. Gave no aisle pointed and said over there. At the end of the day some retail customers how to deal with but I asked a simple question. I mean there's five employees In a small store, do you think their customer service will be excellent? But that wasn't the case. So I'll drive the extra 10 minutes to a home Depot.

Needed pool filter sand (3 bags), said it was in stock but there was only one in stock. Asked for assistance for more but was told that's all there was. I asked if he could check another store but he said the store doesn't connect with other stores. I then asked well, can you call your other store? Customer service has disappeared here. Frustrated, I just walked out.

Never find exactly what I need here. I always have to make a compromise and overpay for it. Additionally, their utter lack of commercial grade products is really frustrating.

Ace is the place. They have all the essentials And, the store is easy to maneuver. They sometimes have a line at checkout but more power to them.
