“It’s not a very big shop so don’t expect rows and rows of Surplus, but everything there is 100% authentic and Dan is super knowledgeable! Without a doubt the best surplus store in ABQ.”

“We were able to find some gems here! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the items even though they were not directly the owner of the items. It was surreal to see some of the odd pieces and even some very nice high end antiques! It is one of my favorite things to find something old, and use it! I've always thought that every day is precious, so use the china and silverware!”

“I visited Pattin Auction for the first time yesterday. They had a mega auction because it was New Year's Day. I met the owner and main auctioneer, Richard. The entire staff are very nice. They had so much cool stuff: toys, furniture, Native American rugs and pottery, neon signs, jewelry, vintage signs and so on. I purchased two pieces of furniture at great prices!”

“This place as such an enchanting and alluring atmosphere. I didn't get to get a good look at everything, since they closed an hour earlier than Google said (5 instead of 6), but they made sure we knew how soon they'd be closing, and even came to get us ahead of others since we had objects up front.

Speaking of the objects we had up front, many reviews mentioned the owners following them around. This is true and I understand the negative feelings it can give a customer, however, I think it's a positive. I believe they want to make sure you don't get worn out from holding things, especially if you didn't grab one of the baskets they keep by the entrance. I also believe it would keep things from getting broken from being on the bottom of objects it shouldn't be and in case you find smth large you'd like to buy or have questions about certain things.

It's not really following, though, as it seemed to me they had a kind of route to follow, which can be diverted if there's quite a few ppl in one area.

Anyways the prices are also really freakin' reasonable and affordable. I've been thinking abt going back since I got home. Can't wait to go again, especially since I didn't get to look at everything.”

“I don’t know what rock I’ve been hiding under but I just found out about this store. We have visited multiple times and just bought a GORGEOUS one of a kind coffee table for our game room. The service is always impeccable, too. This place is a level (or ten) above other local vintage stores and is much more reminiscent of the great stores in Santa Fe. Will definitely be back.”

“Thoughts about some of posts below. I am a vendor here at Antiques & Things so admittedly mine are not totally unbiased comments.• Several have posted that A&T vendors do not offer any discounts. Most vendors will consider offers on any item whose original price is over $30. Someone at the front counter can help you negotiate this.• It is unfortunate that a customer got the impression that the store is anti-LGBTQ. Wow. Sorry you had this impression, but really the store is very LGBTQ friendly!• To those complaining about the heat or cold. Keeping this large, old building comfortable is a challenge. All I can say is that the management does its best to address heating and cooling issues as quickly as possible. We are proud that this vintage space, with its original wood flooring and high ceilings, can still offer Albuquerque an enjoyable retail experience. I hope that all, whether you had a less than stellar experience or a great one, will come back to shop and spend time at Antiques & Things. We look forward to seeing you.”

“This place is by far one of the best indoor flea markets in Albuquerque. There's always a wide variety of quality and unique merchandise with sales commonly going on in individual booths. Both visits this week, I was greeted by staff who were friendly and helpful.”
