We had dinner here our first night in Albuquerque. The building and its history are worth a visit on their own. Service was wonderful, and the food did not disappoint. I loved that our table felt very private. We started with an oyster dish and salads. I had the spiced shrimp, and he had lobster. We had the dessert trio, which was perfectly sized. Everything was delicious!!

Fantastic. Service was great, almost a little much, but generally good. . Reservations were a little tough to get but I can see why. Best steak I had in Albuquerque

Hands down the best fine dining experience I have had in albuquerque. This place is nestled into old town Albuquerque with public paid parking a short wheelchair friendly walk from the front entrance. The entry is a counter with a woodturning hearth/grill behind it. We arrived early and were promptly seated after a short wait. The decor is definitely old town New Mexico shirk. Tasteful and interesting. The staff were top notch professionals with exemplary service. The front house runs like a well oiled machine with no dry drinks. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent suggestions. the salads we had at the waiters behest consisted of romain and butter lettuce, sliced apple, toasted Brie cheese, various berries, and tossed with a pear vinaigrette making for a luxuriously delicious salad. My rack of lamb was tender, juicy, and cooked to a crispy medium perfection. It rested on a bed of risotto that was creamy cheesy perfection. The vegetables were also well cooked and flavorful. My wife's salmon was seasoned and grilled to perfection being juicy and thouroughly cooked. For dessert we had the three cheese cherry crepe which was every bit as elegant and delectable as the other dishes. The wood fired grill definitely gave the proteins a wonderful light smokey flavor that made. them that much more amazing. Yes it's pricey but you do get what you pay for here and then some. This place will be on my go to list from now on. Cheers

The only negative that I've seen anyone claim is that the reservations are difficult to get. They're a phone-in "reservations only" restaurant and I think people are so accustomed to online booking or just showing up and getting in at other places that they expect something different but that's on them for not reading and/or understanding.Once you're there, though, this place is top notch. It was the perfect place to have a quiet, delicious dinner to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything we ate was amazing and the service was outstanding.

We had an amazing dinner here. We tried the oysters Rockefeller, filet mignon, ribeye, and dessert trio, and enjoyed everything. The oysters were incredible. So decadent. My salad looked like a work of art. The ribeye was so juicy and tasty. Great ambience. Definitely want to try the chateaubriand next time

We were able to get a table here for our anniversary. The parking is ample and paid at a lot that is a very short across the street and half way down the block. This is old town Albuquerque so the buildings are charming examples of original architecture. We arrived a little early and waited in a comfortable waiting area just inside the front door. Our table was ready right on time. I'm in a power chair and am happy to report handicap parking at the paid lot and I was able to easily navigate rite up to the table without incident. The staff were professional and attentive. The fine dining atmosphere matches their demeanor and excellent service. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and beverage choices. The wine list is vast and full of all stars and old favorites. The food and service from the kitchen was impeccable. At the waiters behest I ordered the lamb and was not disappointed in any way. The lamb was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Sarah's salmon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The proteins are roasted over a wood fired hearth/grill just behind the front entry counter. The dishes are pricey but are so because you are getting the very best ingredients prepared in ways that'll blow your mind. The lamb chops were tender and perfectly crispy at the same time. They were served on a bed of the best risotto ever. The three cheese crepe with flambéed cherries on top was transcendent. The salads that the waiter recommended had sliced fruit and baked Brie cheese with a dressing that tied it all together beautifully. If it seems like I'm gushing the reason is clear. This place is an awesome place to enjoy a special meal. Cheers

There was a time when I had a thesarus in my home library. I wish I had it handy today, so that I could add words of accolade for this fine establishment. First time visit for me; was invited to a birthday dinner gathering. This is higher end dining in Albuquerque. From the street, looks understated, but once inside, a quiet elegance. Fantastic staff, very accomodating and friendly, and service through the meal and desert was a wonderful "invisible but you know they are there" approach. We were a party of six, I had a rib eye that was sumptuous and perfectly cooked. I learned about a dish that a king preferred, Henry the IV; artichoke on a steak. Lamb chops looked perfect. Another big plus: the tables are partitioned so that you have a sense of quiet privacy. And the prices? Very reasonable, in fact considering the quality of the food I would say prices are low. No doubt this is one of ABQ's top ten restaurants.

This Albuquerque favorite is never disappointing. The food is superb, can't be beat for consistent presentation, quality, taste and flavor. Although the wine list is not extensive, the choices are very satisfactory. The atmosphere is Old Town rustic, expect no upgrades, especially in the restrooms.

I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon to order the smallest steak they had available to go. I was told I would not get any service. The restaurant concentrates fully on seated guests.
