I am completely new to the sport of archery. I have heard many people recommend this place. I bought a compound bow from a co-worker and brought it in to be inspected and have the draw length readjusted.Jacob recommended that the bow be restrung. They set the new arrow rest and installed a new 5pin sight. A shooting competition was taking place at the time I picked up my bow. I asked how to set distance for the pins.Jacob was very busy at this point, but remained very calm and professional in explaining that he did not have time because of the shooting competition.He explained that he would be more than happy to help me at another time when the shooting competition was over. I put my bow into storage and got occupied with work for about a month before deciding to go back and asking for assistance rather than try on my own.I really wasn't expecting to be remembered, but Jacob very enthusiastically began assisting me with setting my pin and explaining how to do so on my own.As a novice, I feel I have been given enough basic instruction to begin my journey as an amateur archer with a compound bow. I highly recommend the archery shoppe to anybody who requires maintenance or is looking to purchase a new bow. Very good people??

Our first time trying out our bow n arrow set,beginners of course we had ? fun with whole family, everyone who worked their were very nice and professional and willing to lend a hand. Pro shop in side and shooting was perfect to.well for sure be back to sharpen our skills.

Excellent service! Gabe went out of his way to spend almost an hour tuning my bow, dialing in peep sight and installing a new rest. He helped me adjust my draw length and cut arrows to my size. Highly recommend this place for archery services.

I was just in today for the first time. I picked a bow back up for the first time since I was a kid, and the first time since using the use of my hand. With that, it was already complicated. Not for these gentlemen. All my dumb questions, learning about new tech, and arrow selection we're not a problem for them. I can't thank them enough, and I'm looking forward to going back.

This was my first time walking in to a bow shop as I had ZERO idea what I was doing. I am looking to get into archery hunting. Ted asked me how he could help and spent the next 2 hours explaining everything to me while letting me shoot 3 different bows. I came back two days later to buy the bow and Ted spent another 2 hours with me answering all my questions and educating me on the subject while he set up my bow for me and helped me pick the best accessories for my price point. There were no upsale tricks and Ted was very patient with me. I noticed every other employee there was every bit as polite and willing to help. I’m definitely a customer for life. Thank you!

My Girlfriend came in for lessons and the teacher Karen was awesome. If you have a daughter or another female that wants to get into bow hunting or shooting she is Great. My girlfriends technique was improved and the grouping was much better. Thisis why I gave more than one star.For context this was first time ever going here. I called multiple people two days before talking about shooting bows and getting a new one I scheduled lessons with the thought in mind to get a new bow while she practices which I let at least two people know. My heart was set on getting the new Mathews LIFT today. Was told to keep an open mind and shoot serval different bows. After trying two bows I was abandoned for 30 minutes . The technician checked on me later to let me know he was having trouble finding mods for the Hoyt never heard anything afterwards for an hour. Afterwards when I decided to just leave the Tech apologized and explained he was helping with a deer in the back that another hunter had shot and forgot about me. I didn't realize that they also did meat processing there as well lol. I'm not sure how much money you have to spend in order to get attention I was willing to spend up to 2500 on my very first bow. Mind you several people around this time had gotten there bows serviced and or worked while I waited.

Annette, Gabe and the rest of the staff are friendly, courtesy and very knowledgeable. This is an awesome judgment free environment. Everyone is willing to help teach/guide you through. You can be a beginner and in few days walk out a pro. Highly recommended, can't say enough about them.

Greetings,I do not live in Albuquerque, so a visit to The Archery Shoppe takes me pretty far from my usual beaten path. I've been in twice, with questions I hoped could be answered. Maybe I should have called on the phone instead.I was asked once if I had any questions, but then was promptly asked to wait while the clerk took care of a customer (possibly a regular that spends money there) who had arrived at the counter after I did.On my second visit to the shoppe I got some of the information I needed, but that was obtained through a conversation with another customer, not a member of the staff.The Archery Shoppe is a bustling place, doing lots of business. This is a good thing, as I like to see local businesses enjoy success. However, I probably will not be returning.
