12 December, 2023I have been going to Armada Physical Therapy for several months now and have come to view them as a very important part of my physical healing and well-being.My initial assessment was with Fiona, who was meticulous, thorough, and patient. Since then, I’ve worked with Fiona, Kim, Liz, and Sarah, as well as Karen, Jake, Liv, and other excellent folks in this practice.I have learned a ton from every single one of them and felt a dramatic improvement both in my condition and spirits.Thank you all for your great professionalism, competence, and humanity.

I was referred here earlier this year and I’m very grateful. Madison was amazing and I deeply appreciated her wholistic approach to treatment. My back pain has significantly improved since starting treatment with Madison, and when I do have flareups, I have the tools to manage them!

The place its self is 4 stars, great pts and the environment is good, welcoming and overall clean. However the actual physical therapy that I went to for Pelvic Floor Therapy...I would say it's a 2.5 stars but three stars would do. To start off, my previous gyno (from Women's Specialist on Coal, which is another review that I did) referred me to there due to hypertonic pelvic floor (Back in late September of 2021). So Liz, the Pelvic Floor Therapist, only did the treatment of only that. Unfortunately, that gyno only diagnosed me so little information and didn't realize that I not just only have hypertonic pelvic floor issues and possiblity (which is now more of a chance since doing more test and meds) endometriosis. My current gyno correctly diagnosed me (November 2022) with: hypertonic pelvic floor, Vestibulodynia, Pudendal nerve, IC, and endometriosis . I don't blame Liz that if the previous gyno would had the current and correct information now, I would probably show way much improvement. Carrie has been mostly there for me for only the external work. The other part is that I didn't feel a connection with Liz, that does internal and external work. Didn't demonstrate of how to use the pelvic wand or much details for example of why I should use extra for someone who has hypertonic pelvic floor issues (learned this from my current PFT), and much more information and details. Additionally, you NEVER say to someone one whose in chronic pain of "You should have been better by now". Instead, say "Maybe in the next couple of months we can see you again to see what else can be done and see what your gyno says" cause we all know that insurances don't cover for long periods of time. But to say that to someone who has been dealing with chronic pain is a no no and would bring them down. Would I recommend this place for regular PT? Yes. Would I recommend this place for PFT and doesn't have chronic pain or pain that lasted more than 6 months , and or have a really good gyno/urologist that gives the correct information/diagnosed to the PFT? Yes. But someone that's been dealing with chronic pelvic pain for more than 6 months...I kinda don't recommend and unsure. That's why I was a bit hesitant of replying or calling back to them to see if I want to tell them if I saw any improvements or if I want to go back cause I did felt discouraged.

These are great physical therapists. They never push beyond your endurance and they also make physical therapy fun. It's been a great experience working with them

I was in so much pain I had no hope, and honestly no faith in physical therapy. I was so wrong. I am learning about the anatomical structures in my body and how to manipulate them to regain function with so much less pain it's like a miracle. To some extent you get out what you put in, but even on a bad day I leave feeling better than when I went in. I might not ever be the same as "before", but I have hope for the future. Thanks Armada!

The staff at Armada is very up-to-date on helping people with physical therapy. I appreciate their kind and empathetic and friendly manner. I also appreciate that they listen carefully and do not try to assume. They are highly professional and caring. They are serious about what they do. I will not go anyplace else. I am deeply grateful to the staff at Armada on Jefferson Street in Albuquerque. If it wasn't for them I honestly do not know what my condition would be. I have spinal cord nerve issues and they are always on top of it from the first visit. Thank you Liz and Sarah and every single person that works there.

Had my other total knee replacement done and I find myself saying aloud that I LOVE this place. Every day I get closer and closer to feeling like each knee knows what the other is doing and doing it pain free.

Elizabeth and her team took great care of me. I had a hip replacement and while each PT applied gentleness with me, they helped me to progress. On my first day Liz told me that her team works together, they know what's going on with each patient so I felt well-cared for. I wasn't just another body passing through like I felt in some places who had to meet their daily quotas. Thanks to Elizabeth's Team!

I went to Armada's Jefferson Stree location on May 2 (8 weeks ago) for a joint power wheelchair evaluation with Luke the PT therapist with Armada and Jason from Numotion. Jason shared his notes immediately, but nothing from Luke. I attempted to reach Luke and Armada by phone several times without any luck. I'm told to leave a message, which I do asking for a call back. Today, I attempted once again to reach Armada by phone, I was told that I was 3rd in line to talk to a representative. After 10 minutes a voice message came on saying that no on could take my call, and I should leave a message. I think there is something wrong with your system and with Luke. He just needed to provide his evaluation for my powerchair order can go forward to the doctor and on to Medicare.

I can't say enough about the knowledge and the care that is given at the Jefferson street facility. I have experienced all the therapists on staff. They are all on the same page. I usually get Liz or Sara and always leave feeling better. I would go there every day if possible because I am not good about homework. I just had a total knee replaced and this may get me in the habit at home, I can't do anything else at this time.
