The experience is amazing, breathtaking, and so worth it, with the skies filled with hundreds of balloons of all shapes and sizes. Attendees can stand under the balloons and watch them ascend, creating a memorable atmosphere reminiscent of a small county fair. The balloon crews are friendly and eager to answer questions. Visitors should be prepared for significant walking and standing. The organization and logistics can seem chaotic, particularly with traffic and parking, which is why taking the shuttle or Park and Ride is strongly recommended over driving, as parking is limited and traffic can take hours. Inside, expect State Fair pricing for food and drinks, though bringing a picnic is allowed. The weather is a major factor, as it is cold in October mornings and wind can keep balloons on the ground, causing delays or cancellations. Guests are advised to wear layers and arrive early. Despite some logistical challenges, it is a unique balloon experience that should not be missed.
