I have been with Bank of the West for many years and have never encountered the problem I did yesterday at this location!I wanted to cash my check and then add some money to my checking account and the teller refused to add money to my account, he told me all he could do was cash the check! I have done this since I opened my account, cash a check keep some cash and then add money to my account. I'm not sure what this guy's problem was yesterday! So I asked him if I could just add the money to my account through the ATM instead and he said "oh yes that will be fine you can use the ATM outside, so I walked over there and the first thing I see is a huge display on the screen that says " NO CASH DEPOSITS IN THIS MACHINE UNTIL AFTER SEPT 1ST!!" that kid knew I wouldn't be able to put my cash in and he straight up lied!! I was really upset with this guy, he's a liar and made my day harder than it needed to be for no reason but that he didn't want to do his job apparently!! I did yell at him from the parking lot and I hope he heard me if not what I said was "and this is why your broke ask* bank got bought out by another company!!" cant even put money into a customers account like what the heck that's why you're going out of business airhead! This place is a zero!!!! Snot nosed employee do your job!

Would not recommend this place at all, they will back slide you and charge you fees you dont even get notice, and will send you to collections to ruin your credit. Even if you sign a no authorization to accept overcharge as I said di not accept charge if I do not have the money in account but it's at their own discretion and accepted a charge that I overdraw for .35 and now was charged $35 as a overcharge on following months statement. Happened more then 3 times on same date with $35 each time added. Not to mention charging me a rush replacement that the atm swallowed and destroyed my current card. U thought it may have been a courtesy as it was the atm's fault but nope a $35+- charge was added to my account with not even asking me if I wanted to rush it. Be careful as they will do sneaky things. I tried to close my account with the bank manager as she said she was unable to do it as I needed to call in. I said I opened it here why can't I close it here, not my rules she said. They refused to give me my money.

MY UNCLE BEEN GOING EVERY MONTH, THEN ON NEW YEARS EVE A ROOKIE TELLER SAID THE CARD WAS DECLINED. AND SENT ME ON MY WAY SAYING TO COME BACK TOMORROW. WHICH APPARENTLY HE FAILED TO REALIZE IT IS A HOLIDAY. SO THIS ALOT GOOD HIS D*** ADVICE WILL DO. THIS SO CALLED TELLER NEEDS TO BE FIRED FOR BEING INGNORANT AND INSENSITIVE TO CUSTOMERS NEEDS.

I have used this atm before and have not had any issues. I recommend using it during the day.

We moved here from Denver three years ago. No matter what problem I'm having -- seeing all the activities on my accounts, linking all my accounts together, having my credit card charges available to see, document for direct deposit to my savings account, an dispute affidavit prepared -- they can't do it. If you're going to do any business with Bank of the West, I would strongly suggest you go to 3733 Isleta Blvd SW (south of Isleta off Rio Bravo) or even go to 7900 Wyoming Blvd NE (south of Paseo del Norte on Wyoming) -- either of these Branches and staff are friendlier and certainly more knowledgeable!
