I love this bookstore. You can usually find something you're interested in reading, and they have a music section upstairs to cater to your listening wants/needs. The only reason the rating is less than 5 stars ? is the cashier at the Starbucks inside Barns and Nobel was rude to my sister. You can say you don't take Starbucks gift cards and don't accept the Starbucks points without the attitude. The coffee wasn't great either. ?

Nice and clean, exactly what you would expect from a typical Barnes and Noble. Love the smell of books there, and the selection of books was packed compared to others I've seen. Very cool lay out as it is a two story store.

If you need/want something, ANYTHING to read... this is the place. Girlfriend could easily spend $900 on books and journals. I thought that was crazy until she took me inside and I found my self leaving the store with $400 worth of magazines books and novelty items. It's fantastic

The store itself is beautiful! I love going there to purchase books. It's clean and quiet, and the environment is always welcoming. However, the Starbucks that's there was horrible. The staff at the register was extremely rude. I only ever buy the same 3 drinks when I go to Starbucks. So I know what to order every time and what they taste like. The drink she handed me was the wrong one. When I informed her of the mistake, she told me that next time, I need to order the right drink. I pulled up the app on my phone and showed her the drink I requested and that I knew what I was ordering. She then proceeded to tell me they're not Starbucks. My understanding was that I was standing in a Starbuck, but I wasn't going to waste the time arguing the point. So, unfortunately, I have to leave a bad review for the whole bookstore, which is unfortunate. I very highly recommend the book store itself. However, I personally will never spend a cent of my money at the Starbucks that's located in the store.

A wonderful, huge store with a fantastic selection of books. Furthermore, I couldn't find a book I wanted and not one, but TWO staff members searched until they found it. Incredible service!!

I love books and this place has plenty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Starbucks has a great selection of coffee and snacks. I found dice for TTRPG's and rules for different games. I found the book I was looking for, Elric. Never read it? You should.

Always LOVED this place ever since I heard of it. I loved how each genre had its own section of the store and that it wasn't just books being sold there.

While I prefer shopping local it's hard to do when it comes to books. Local bookstores are dwindling, replaced by the megastores with both large physical & internet presence. Instant gratification is a wonderful thing. I like the discounted section - mostly coffee table size books but still some interesting subjects. Over the years the overstuffed chairs have disappeared replaced with benches and wood chairs. This store is bright, well stocked and uncluttered. Employees are helpful, but frequently hard to find - most are helping other customers. I like the ability to peruse books and make a selection while enjoying coffee from the imbedded Starbucks. Looking for a guide to my new camera. It wasn't in stock and had to be purchased online. Prices are full retail with no discount unless you are a member of their reader's club. That comes at a cost also - ya gotta buy a lot of books to break even on this one.

I've always loved it here. Plenty of selection. Every New Mexican kid remembers reading books in the giant kid's section. However, as of September 2023, the bathroom doors "must stay open due to health regulations". It's pretty demeaning. Also, it's obvious that it's actually just for shoplifters.

Great atmosphere and just about any good read you may want! Also, awesome gifts for those not so interested in books.

I recently visited the Barnes & Noble in Albuquerque, and I was impressed by the spaciousness of the store. It's one of the biggest locations I've seen in a while, boasting two stories of inviting space. The store features an extensive collection of books that spans various genres, making it a haven for book lovers. The large section dedicated to books is a reader's paradise, offering a wide selection that caters to different tastes. If you're looking for a comfortable and well-stocked bookstore experience, the Barnes & Noble in Albuquerque is definitely worth a visit.

This is really the only Barnes & Noble that I've visited in the past few years but every experience has been pleasant and welcoming; I had an employee on my last trip here welcome me to a Halloween party that the location is planning to hold, and overall it makes the environment feel all the more enjoyable. Their selection of film and music is very good as well, so I tend to come here if im planning to buy new releases instead of borrowing them from my library or listening online. I would recommend coming here if you have some money to spare!
