This place is immaculate, affordable, and centrally located. However, I really need to recognize the above/beyond customer service I received from Ben at the front desk and from the service staff whose names I will never know but nonetheless appreciate. At some point in my stay, I lost a very expensive cosmetic contact lens. As my checkout hour approached, and I still had not found it, I called the front desk and asked them to charge me for another night, because it was still less than the cost of replacing my lens.Ben told me he understood completely and encouraged me to continue searching, and that meanwhile, he would turn my reservation into a late checkout, giving me two additional hours. He said after that, if I hadn't found my lens, we could reserve another night.Luckily, with the extra time, I actually did find my lens (stuck to the back of a table leg, however that can happen). I rapidly packed my vehicle and left, but not before stopping by the front desk to thank Ben and to leave a cash tip for everyone involved. This little act of customer service has earned my repeat business. I will happily go out of my way and pay a few dollars more to stay anywhere, to use any business, that demonstrates an appreciation for its customers.Noteworthy details: Truly superior customer service.

Very nice to have space between the hallway and the main beds. Nice and quiet! Service in the breakfast room was a little slow, many tubs needing refills. Right by the freeway, good restaurants nearby. A good stay!Nearby activities: Great authentic restaurants right nearby, several gas stations.

Tried to make reservation here and the woman who took the call was extremely unfit the be doing customer service, didn’t know her job, didn’t know frankly anything..she put us on hold so long that the room we wanted was taken and we had to go somewhere else. Thankfully we ended up at Comfort Inn by the airport, around the corner from here and it was EXCELLENT. We are on a 10 day road trip to see family for holidays. We have stayed at a Best Western three different nights and this Choice hotel was levels above! Save yourself bad customer service, bad information, slow and lazy workers and go elsewhere.

The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I sincerely appreciate both front office staffs who helped to locate my charger that I left during my last stay! Thank you.

Rooms: Cleanliness

I stayed at this location for two weeks, so I was able to see what was going on more than most. Rooms (I had two), were pretty good, staff was very friendly overall, my room was quiet.Things that were a problem for me ... someone who works there parks their car in the unloading zone every day, so I was constantly having someone pick me up out in the roadway, and we would block traffic of other guests while this was happening. I thought maybe it was just a guest at first, but because I stayed so long, it was employees parking there and blocking everyone. My biggest complaint of this location is the breakfast. Breakfast is supposed to be from 6 to 10. There are two women who take care of the breakfast area, both on different days. When the small pony haired girl is working, I would give it 6 starts out of 5. She is always on her feet making sure everything is clean and all of the food containers are full of food. She is also very nice. On the other days, there is another lady who sits behind the counter and reads her magazine or is on her phone or something. She doesn't clean any of the tables or chairs, and she refuses to put out any more hot food after 9. One morning I went down to eat at 9:20, and there were only a small amount of eggs left (I can't eat eggs, so I rely on the sausage, bacon and potatoes for my warm breakfast). There was an employee standing and talking with the breakfast lady, and she was eating sausage with biscuits and gravy. And then I noticed the front desk attendant in the back eating the same thing. So I asked the lady if she would be putting more hot food out, and she said no. So I ate cold cereal. During the time I was eating my cold dish, there were four more people who came down and asked her if more hot food would be coming out, and she sat there and said no. I could go on and on for every day she was working and this happening, but this review is already way too long.To sum it up, if you get a really good price for a room, the rooms are basic and okay, but nothing special ... but don't think you can pull up to the door and unload your luggage, or wake up and get a hot meal, unless you are there at 6 am.

The staff was wonderful. The hotel was clean, room was good but smelled of smoke slightly, pool and hot tub were nice. Pool was a little too cold at night. Would definitely stay again!

For about $140 for a weekend night, this place was ok. I made a reservation here because a friend recommended it to me. I had some difficulty finding it at first because its right next to the highway but down this little side street. The staff at the desk were friendly and they put me in a room on the second floor. They told me to go outside and use the elevator at the east end of the building to get to my room. My room was somewhat near the center of the building and when I saw a different elevator at the other end of the hall, I took it downstairs and found out that it was right next to the lobby. So essentially they told me to walk to the far end of the building and then halfway back for no reason. Both elevators had water all over the floor. I almost slipped when I got in the first elevator. I guess the guests who used the pool didn't dry off. I mentioned the water to an employee I passed by and they said they would take care of it but it was obvious they didn't because the elevators were still wet hours later and the same dirty footprints were there. There were also random baskets of what looked like used linens in the hallways. The vending machine on the ground floor at the east end didn't work. A sign said it only accepted credit cards, but the card reader said it only accepted cash, and the display said it was entirely sold out. The room was separated into two halves. The first half had a sitting room with a couch, big tv, refrigerator, microwave, and a desk with a chair. There was also a big window that faced the hallway so I kept the curtains closed. The second half of the room had the bathroom, sink (which was outside the bathroom), another large tv, a big closet, and the bed. The bathroom fan sounded like there was a loose part because it kept rattling. The a/c was very noisy and turned on frequently (like every 10 minutes) so I just shut it off. I woke up several times during the night due to people speeding down the highway and then someone's car alarm went off and continued to blare for around 10 minutes. At checkout the next morning there was nobody at the front desk and when someone did get there, I said I was checking out and they seemed to ignore me. They had picked up a stack of key cards that were on the counter and were probably deactivating them. I waited until they were finished before saying I was checking out, again. I didn't try any of the breakfast foods before I left. This wasn't a bad place to stay at but I doubt I'd stay here again. Mostly due to the location and the traffic noise.

Hotel is run down and in a pretty industrial part of town. The staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. The best part of this place is that it's walking distance to nexus brewing and that place is great.Food & drinks: Next to nexus brewing

4/5 but if I could give it a 4.5 I would. The room, was amazing! We booked a king bed suite, and we did not expect to have two full rooms, the living room/office area with a big TV and the bedroom/bathroom with another tv. The room was clean, super spacious for 2 or even 3 people. The hotel itself was clean, with big and spacious hallways, the pool and gym areas were very clean and well maintainedThe lobby was big with high ceilings and not overly decorated or cluttered. The staff was all so nice and very professional. They have free breakfast bar and the food was pretty good. The lovely lady that stocks it and cleans up was super nice and kept everything well stocked. The only thing I did not like was the paper thin walls, both inside and outside. Our room faced the parking lot and we heard many people arguing, messing around with the cars, or transients just walking around and arguing with security all through the evening and night. We could also hear other room's showers, bathroom sounds and people walking down the hallway and talking. We also had our tv on, so that is saying something about how much the sounds traveled. Other than that, our experience was great, and almost perfect. I would recommend this location and maybe ask for a room on the 2nd floor and away from the parking lot if noises are a concern.Rooms: The king suite was great! Super nice and spacious. Feels like you are in a little apartment.Safety: They had signs that said they had security on the premises, I did not actually see anyone with a uniform but we did see a few men hanging out outside the front of the hotel so maybe that was the security. I also heard people arguing with transients that were hanging out in the parking lot so I am guessing security was keeping an eye on things.
