“Valentine’s day candy box of assorted chocolates was quite good. Chocolates were of high quality. I think the price is a little bit high relative to other brands of similar quality. 5 star for taste, 3 star for value. Supporting your local economy has a value also, you must make your own judgment as to that.”
“This will be our third visit and we are sure to add it to our itinerary every time we visit this wonderful state. The staff is so knowledgeble and always friendly and helpful in our adventure in the pursuit of delicious olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar food pairings! Thank you! Diane M. & Peter I.”
“This is one of our staples. We consistently receive great service. We love the fresh ingredients and homemade treats. Lots of variety, all tasty. Location is convenient with free parking at their door.”
“You can find Mexican things, dried chilies, sweets, piñatas, groceries, soft drinks, corn, cream, cheese, etc. Excellent attention from the lady who serves. Teo”
“I'm glad I got to try some of these today! Staff was very helpful and nice. Love the skittles! The fruit flavored tootsie rolls are also good. I will be ordering more soon, I think.”

“Sugar Mama’s 505 is such a fun and unique local gem. I haven’t made it to the storefront yet, but I absolutely cannot wait to go and support in person. I’ve loved seeing her at countless local vendor events over the years, and every time I’m reminded just how creative and delicious her freeze-dried candies are. They’re the perfect mix of nostalgic and innovative, and always a hit with everyone who tries them. On top of that, Sugar Mama herself is absolutely awesome. She’s so cool, fun, and genuinely sweet-hearted, and you can feel how passionate she is in everything she does. It makes me incredibly proud to see a New Mexico business like this thriving. Highly recommend and very excited to visit the shop soon.”
“Highly recommend Dulceria El Guero Loco for your next pinata purchase. Large selection of piñatas/candy. Staff are very professional/friendly. During each visit staff is very attentive. Today was our 6 visit in a short period they showed their appreciation of our business by gifting a piñata to my special needs adult son. I am truly grateful to see their generosity.”
“I can't eat chocolate anymore and I was so excited when I saw the white creme selections at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory! I especially love the white Pecan Bears! (I wish they had a white cashew cluster also). I always stop in and get one when I'm near a store.”
“Today, I witnessed an unpleasant situation and feel the need to speak up in defense of the store employee. She politely addressed two women and kindly asked them not to touch the candies with their hands, but to use the provided scoops instead. The women reacted with irritation and said she was “so rude.” However, I personally heard the interaction, and I can say with full confidence that there was absolutely nothing rude about the way she spoke.
As a customer, I actually felt uncomfortable seeing someone handle candies with bare hands. It made me lose any desire to purchase those items. And this is not the employee’s fault — it’s the fault of people who choose to ignore basic hygiene and respond negatively to a reasonable and respectful request.
I fully support the employee and appreciate that she tried to maintain cleanliness and order. Her request was polite, appropriate, and entirely justified — and in my opinion, this is exactly how it should be in any store.”
