What a great box. Was staying at an RV campsite nearby and came in for a drop in. The owner John was very affable and even gave me some directions for things to explore while I was in town. Nice clean gym, lots of equipment and I'll definitely drop in again with I cross through town. Highly recommend this gym for a drop in.

We dropped in for the 8:30am class and loved it!! Met the owner (John) and he made us feel right at home! The gym is big and spacious with clean equipment. Super friendly members and great workout. We’d highly suggest this gym if you’re around Alburqueque!!✨??

Very nice setup here, one of the few gyms I've seen with a kick butt air conditioner system that kept it comfortable inside during WOD. Friendly folks and a great coach. Only there for a drop in, but if I'm back in the area will be coming back guaranteed.

Great vibe. Excellent coaches. Coach Sibo does the programming and it’s excellent and she’s an awesome coach!

My experience with Cantina Crossfit was ok until I needed to end my membership. I talked to the owner, John, before the start of a new month and he said he’d update the system. Btw, this place is month-to-month payments, no contracts. However, come the next month my credit card was charged anyways. I’ve called and texted John but he doesn’t respond and at this point I think he’s flat out ignoring me. What’s more, when I log into the gym’s member portal it says I’m still an active member and a refund hasn’t been issued.I have no patience or time for bad business practices. So I’ve cancelled my card and my bank issued the money I’m owed back to me. I recommend you do the same if this happens to you. I would’ve requested a chargeback and had the bank contact Cantina Crossfit directly but I’m going to be out of town. Beware of this place, don’t give them your credit card number!

Really fun group of people! Trainers are good at explaining the workouts and the programming really helps with strength building.

This is one of the best Crossfit gyms I have ever been to. We drop in every time we are in town. The facility is clean and top notch, and the coaching staff is second to none. They are all very knowledgeable and passionate, dedicated to making each athlete better no matter the level. The programming is excellent, I highly recommend this gym to anyone living in the Albuquerque area, and it’s the perfect place to drop in if you’re just visiting! They are all so friendly and accommodating making every class enjoyable while challenging at the same time. Go check them out!

I found this gym was not inclusive to beginners. One trainer mentioned she could tell I had no athletic past by my poor performance. The owner John was very unprofessional when I spoke with him about the issue. He told another trainer that I was difficult to train because I’m “uncoordinated”. Over all, this was not an inclusive place. If you’re looking for a positive and uplifting gym, this is not the place for you

My partner and I dropped in during the week of Thanksgiving. John, the coaches, and the members were so welcoming.I loved that John welcomes every single member by name as they walk in (even us). It shows he truly cares about his members. The programming was very fun. A good balance of movement patterns. We will drop in here every time we visit Albuquerque.

This is a fun place to CrossFit. The coaches are really good. They will help you make forward progress no matter what your existing fitness level. We especially like the Saturday morning wods.

Great programing, great staff, great gym!I trained at Cantina Crossfit for 2 months in 2021. The facilities are excellent here and the programming had a lot of diversity, which I really liked: Metcons, strength-based powerlifting, barbell movements, gymnastics, bodyweight, and endurance. The gym itself is very large and open, with huge windows that give you views of the Sandia Mountains. There was a lot of room and enough equipment to accommodate all athletes. The staff are very accommodating and really work with the athletes to ensure they are having a great experience.I've been to many CrossFit boxes as I've traveled across the country and would highly recommend this gym. I'll be back on my next time through ABQ.
