I shopped at the Commissary last week (July 20th) and it was unbelievable hot in the whole store. The poor employees were like the lettuce is everyday, wilted. I can't believe that the commissary is run on swamp coolers, it can't be. I hope it's fixed for the employees sake and health standards. What's up with the lettuce though? Always wilted. The base is looking altogether run down. Money was poured into the BX, how about the Commissary?

I stopped in today and was looking for something specific. I asked an associate who name is Todd I believe, if he knew where it was, but he was unsure. He helped me look all over for it, but couldn't find it. He explained that it was very simple to make and even showed me an article on how to properly make it. I told him thank you for helping, and went on my way. About 10 minutes later he found me in the store and brought the product to me. He said he looked all throughout the store and finally found it. I was absolutely blown away by the customer service he gave today. He really went above and beyond and that's why I decided to leave a review. I wish there were more people like him out there.

On base, will require base access and CAC or USID to shop here. Great deals and selections.

A trip out to Kirkland means a stop at the commissary for Thanksgiving trimmings. We were able to get most of what was needed. Similar to the civilian sector prices have increased. But they still represent a small savings. Plus all the non-food items are still tax free. It's smaller that most commissaries I've been to. But there is a small military community (active, reserve, veterans & retired) to service. My largest complaint, if you can call, is the build is dated and dingy. The lighting is poor. Although it's not it makes the store look dirty. I think it still worth the stop if you qualify to shop there.

I haven't been here in years but my grandmother was a cashier here and I saw how much she enjoyed working here. My family never had an issue with staff or any shoppers. My grandfather was a dedicated shopper until he recently passed and I'm very grateful for everyone there that made our shopping experience fun and for the hospitality that kept us coming back for years. If I was able to still shop on base I would definitely keep doing so but I hope everyone and their families gets to experience the same hospitality my family was shown for years like we did.

A decently stocked commissary that can meet most* of your needs. The produce and meat sections have enough to gt someone by on certain items but could use a little more variety in stock. There is a good selection of baked goods and the sushi that they make fresh everyday is tasty but can be a little expensive. The staff are always friendly and helpful and I've never had an issue with them. The self-checkout machines can be a little touchy but nothing to ruin a trip. It's a good place to stop by, grab some groceries and carry on.

The store itself is very old (looks like the 1950's) the quality of produce is low, lots of dirt and mold on many items including the onions (at that point I'm baffled at how long the onions have been there to even get mold)When speaking to customer service about said issue I was directed to speak to the customer service manager. She was nothing but rude and full of attitude. She spoke to me in a very condescending manner, usually this wouldn't bother me but considering that this isn't a Smith's or Albertsons I expected a bit more decorum (I suppose I'm at fault for expecting the bare minimum). The point of having a customer service manager is to help customers not to belittle them or to make them feel less than human. When leaving I asked my cashier what the customer service managers name and was given the name of Everett. If you see this review ma'am, I hope you can find happiness in your work and if not, then it may be time for you to consider finding a new line of work.

The Commissary Corner is open. Located towards the back of the store near the frozen food section. This increases their floor and shelf space and offers a variety of snacks and drinks.

I love this place because of the prices the friendly employees and my husband on the right for us to shop there thank you I must edit my review today is February 16th 2022 I visited Kirtland Air Force Base to make a purchase and I was very disappointed that there was not a proper display for Black History Month that's not acceptable at Kirtland Air Force Base a display of black history must be prominent at that this time in history when it's not it's a slap in the face to every African American that has served in the military and for those of us that live and shop on base I am a retired military wife and I plan to continue shopping at Kirkland but I would like to see more attention paid to African-American month

This is an ANTIQUATED building with POOR LIGHTING, at this Commissary you're required to tap on the keypad 3 or 4 times before you're handed your receipt. SmhREASONABLY priced items, not enough customer service check out agents available.

Small yet filled with the things that you need. The staff is super friendly and will always assist you in finding things. The facility is clean and always tidy. The clothing and sales that is located not with the PX but in the mall is very small and limited however.

The produce department needs serious attention, I have gotten home and my produce has mold that wasn't visible at purchasing. Every time I shop there, there is something else they have stopped carrying. It has become more of a hassle to shop there than anything else, its stops being convenient when there isn't much in stock. The meat and bread department is great and always has a good stock. They also advertise "REWARDS," however, when registering for this service the "MY STORE" section did not even have the option for any of the commissaries out west and zero in New Mexico. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I have never shopped at a commissary that was not up to scratch minus this one.
