Calling Customer Service is a nightmare. Customer has to wait a very long time and then gets a beligerante agent. Customer ask a simple question about system being down and agent hung up on customer. Guess they don't need any banking customers.

This bank is absolutely terrible! The uptown branch is only open until 3pm, which is lazy even for bank hours. On top of that, half the time I go during business hours the door is locked and no one comes to open it. When I try to call customers service it says they’re experiencing higher than usual call volume (I get this message 365 days a year, 24 hours a day) and it takes forever to speak to a person. When I finally do speak to a person they never have the answer to my question. I will be switching banks immediately.

They are not a local bank anymore. Sunflower only cares about fees and greedy people in Kansas. First national used to be a cherished name in Santa Fe. The executive management is all in Kansas and they don’t care about the Santa Fe community.

Banking here almost a year now. I’m extremely unhappy with the online, app and text for balance functions. Online website is so barren you can not even view transactions properly and balance info is always inaccurate. The app was a joke so I uninstalled it after a couple days and relied solely on the texting feature for accurate balance and transaction info, however... over the past month the texting system was “updated” and I can no longer receive accurate balance or transaction info there either. All efforts I have made to contact the bank for help have been useless. I’m so terribly dissatisfied and disappointed. Update: 10/2020 Customer service 1-888 number are unable, unwilling or too ill equipped to help, all I need is accurate and consistent banking. “I’m sorry I don’t have access, I’m sorry I’m unable to help” are the answers I have received to my concerns.

Service has been terrible since purchase. Now I'm being inappropriately solicited for information for marketing purposes.

Recommend you stay clear of FN1870 and Sunflower Bank (which recently purchased FN1870). Opened an account here [Eldorado branch] when we moved to the area. Branch ATM won't take deposits. Tried to open a safe deposit box: got as far as completing the application with a bank employee then, when it came time to get the key, was told that the branch had "misplaced" their own key so they couldn't get to new keys, or open any existing boxes and we'd have to come back another day. Was also told that this happens "occasionally" but that the banks key usually turns-up "after a few days." For the last several days have been trying to arrange for external transfer to a savings account at another bank. Bank employee at local branch insists that all accounts at all banks have "checks" and she needs a voided check to make the arrangements. Tried sending forms to national office (Sunflower, which now owns FN1870); just got phone call that they can't process the request without a "voided check": the person we spoke to on the phone also doesn't understand that there are such things as savings accounts that don't have checks. Will be moving our funds to a real bank, real soon.

This is the best location out of all the branches available. They have the best staff and are always so attentive and courteous. Highly recommended.

I love working with this branch. All of them Brianna, Mariah, and Noah are always pleasant and always assist me with a smile. They are a wonderful team!

If you really cared about improving, you would reopen the branches you closed - which you did solely for your own benefit - not for the benefit of your customers.

Since the change or transition with Sunflower, I feel like I went back about 15 years with banking services and technology. No app for business accounts.
