The Fruit Basket is a great little hole-in-the-wall grocery place for fruits and vegetables. It offers an extensive selection of items including Mexican Cokes, candies, chips, large bags of red chili, chili powder, other New Mexico staple items, grains, and dehydrated cantaloupe. The produce is usually fairly fresh with a decent selection. Local farmers sell their stock here. Everything is unbelievably affordable with great prices. The cashiers are nice and the place is perfect for someone from out of town to stock up. It is an interesting place with a lot of options.
I like most people was worried I wouldn't get my green chile this year. The manager John Gonzales not only made sure I got my sack of xxx hot he was polite, and very professional along with the cashiers. And the price was reasonable. Thanks everyone at The Fruit Basket. I will definitely be a returning costumer.
