Goodwill is more than just a thrift store - it's a nonprofit agency that helps New Mexicans find jobs and access specialized social services. Funded by the sale of donated items, Goodwill's free programs and services aim to support the local community. Customers have had mixed experiences at Goodwill stores. While some praise the helpful and empathetic staff, like Luke and Mariah, who went above and beyond to assist customers, others have encountered less-than-stellar customer service. The lack of fitting rooms was also noted as an inconvenience. Overall, Goodwill is appreciated for its affordable prices and good selection, with one customer even scoring a great deal during a half-off sale. Despite some challenges, Goodwill remains a popular destination for those seeking quality secondhand goods while supporting a worthy cause.
Yesterday I was at the Goodwill in Paseo del Norte. A young lady, Mariah, served me very kindly and generously. I asked her to show me some bags. She was very attentive and opened the door, letting me see her. She had a very good and friendly character. I wish there were more people like her in other stores.

I’ve been to almost every Goodwill in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas and this one is the most expensive one.
