Goodwill is more than just a thrift store - it's a nonprofit agency that helps New Mexicans find jobs and access specialized social services. Funded by the sale of donated items, Goodwill's free programs and services aim to support the local community. Customers have had mixed experiences at Goodwill stores. While some praise the helpful and empathetic staff, like Luke and Mariah, who went above and beyond to assist customers, others have encountered less-than-stellar customer service. The lack of fitting rooms was also noted as an inconvenience. Overall, Goodwill is appreciated for its affordable prices and good selection, with one customer even scoring a great deal during a half-off sale. Despite some challenges, Goodwill remains a popular destination for those seeking quality secondhand goods while supporting a worthy cause.
The store is clean and the employees are nice. My problem with the Goodwill is that everything is way overpriced. Used, fast fashion clothing (like Shein) should not be around $10. That's more than you would pay for the item brand new.. 😕
