After renting from this location for 11 weeks. I took the vehicle in for maintenance. I spent a whole day getting the maintenance completed on the Hertz vehicle. I started receiving messages from Hertz that I had to return the vehicle or the vehicle would be disabled and I would be charged a repo fee. I spoke with the new manager Lupe Chavez and she insisted on telling me that my bank was preventing Hertz from charging my account for the rental. After speaking with my bank and finding out that Hertz never tried to withdraw funds for that weeks rental, I asked Lupe why she was making up stories. She took the Car from me ended my contract and still charged me for a rental that I did not use. Lupe needs to be fired.

I booked the managers special which entails a (mid size, economy, mini van, or SUV vehicle ) the guy at the counter who claimed to be the manager gave me a cargo sprinter van with 2 seats. I had 4 people with me. I explained that they violated their own policy but he states he could do whatever he wanted and he didn’t care. The worst experience of my life.

First time renting a vehicle had an emergency situation while I was driving for Uber and Mr. Andrew put my worries at ease. He also told me that I was eligible for other things due to my hard work from Uber and it seems like I’m gonna be in business with you guys for quite some time learned a lot, and was a very good guy. I appreciate everything he did for me he and Edallie hope I spelt that right. We’re very tentative and they left me with a clean car to rent.

Andrew was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable and took care of my brother. Definitely would recommend this company for vehicle rental service.

Worst service! No customer service! No professionalism. No cars???? I picked up a car that was dirty and on empty after being told they did not have any working cars at at! The agent claimed only customer service at the 800 number can take fix the issue. 800 number says only the agent can help! I was so dizzy by the time I left! I won’t be back to Hertz car rental!

I have been dealing with this location for almost 3 years. Unfortunately, under the new management, the service has become unprofessional and unhelpful. The staff often give different answers to the same question, which is very frustrating and not professional. I called several times this week, and with only two people in the office, I received inconsistent and confusing information. One of the employees, Andrew, clearly needs more training on customer service and how to deal with people properly.
I really miss the previous management, Lupe and Mike, who were always professional, kind, and very helpful. They treated customers with respect and made the experience much smoother. I truly hope to see that level of service return in the future.

This review is for Uber drivers thinking about renting a car to use for ride share. If I could give no stars I would. Warning- Don’t utilize the uber driver program to rent vehicles from this company. Half the vehicles break down and are inoperable, two were so filthy from Santa Fe since they don’t clean them, a cute little mouse was even living inside of the first one I picked up. Santa Fe explicitly told me almost proudly “we don’t clean the uber cars” . The Tesla doesn’t cool down properly when the sun is out due to the glass roof and no tint windows, you’ll have to drive at night only. They do not care if you pay in advance for a week for vehicles that don’t work. They will not reimburse you for your lost time and loss of income as a result . Worthless employees especially at the Santa Fe location who will end up yelling at you when you’re asking for help. The Coors location gave me 2 vehicles that were lemons and I lost several days of work from the Jeep they gave me since they were closed on the weekend and the only employee who “knows the uber side “ wasn’t in on Monday. Upon telling them about the lost time, upper management offered a gift card of $65 to come back and rent more lemons!!! Oh boy, lucky me! If you want to deal with a nightmare and staff that get off on NOT helping uber drivers, go to hertz!! You will surely enjoy the rip off and loss of $ when you are simply trying to earn a living while you’re own vehicle is in the shop.

We had made reservations for a pick up truck 2 weeks before needed. The day before we needed it, we got a call from Hertz saying they did not have a truck for us . The agent (Andrew) said he would try his best to get us a pick up truck by the day we needed it. He did come through for us and got a truck just in time for our trip. Thank you Andrew 🤩

Terrible service from the guys there. I had a rental through Uber. After a couple of weeks, the air conditioner went out , middle of summer so I called in to then office. They said they didnt have any other cars so they would put in a ticket and I can take it to jiffy lube. After 2 full days of it being worked on, and still not fixed, I called back into the office to tell them I needed another car because I was losing too many days of income going on the 3rd day. Again they said we don't have any other cars, youll have to wait until that one gets fixed. After 4 full days they finally fixed the car. But I paid weekly , leaving me with 3 days to make-up for a whole week of uber rides. I called the office to see if they would discount those 4 days or give me some extra time to pay the weekly payment. Then guy said sure yea we'll work with you, don't worry you might get a message or email about your payment but dont worry its all good. The very same day , they took out my weekly payment , 3 days early, it wasn't my due date it was 3 days earlier then my due date, putting my account negative. So im thinking ok well they took the payment early, so I dont have to pay until the following Monday, 10 days later. So 5 days later they I look at my account and the payment was returned to them. The payment that they took out 3 days before it was due. So I call and call amd can't reach anyone on the phone for 2 days. So I have 5 days until my due date , and I now have to pay the last weeks payment that was returned and the current weeks payment. So 5 days to pay 2 weeks payment. So since I spoke to the gentlemen and he said they would be flexible with me and they know that the car was down for almost a whole week and they took the payment 3 days before it was supposed to, im sure they will work with me. The next payment day comes Im a little short of the 2 weeks payment. And they dont take any payment out at all. So im figuring its all good they are giving me some time to pay it since they car wasn't running for a week and they messed up my payments by taking it 3 days early. So the day of my second weeks due date when they didnt take any payments out at all , a guy shows up to pick up the rental. Saying I haven't paid it for month, which was a lie, and saying they could press charges. I'm absolutely fuming because I had no car for a week. They apparently still charged me that whole week and they tool the payment 3 days before it was due. And on top of that, they guy they would work with me and apparently he lied. So they will take payments out before they are due. They will make you pay for days when the car isn't running. And they will lie to you and say they will work with, meanwhile they are reporting you to authorities and possibly to credit bureaus. Worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. And when I called after they came to pick up the car, the guy I spoke to was basically like well sorry we dont work with anyone on payments, your payment is your payment even if you don't have the car because its being worked on. And basically he said sorry we can't rent to you anymore

Very horrible service!! My aunt reserved a car online went to go pick it up. They told her it was not available. When she asked for a refund, they became very aggressive, telling her that they cannot give her money back only $20 despite her putting $140 down, they threatened to call the cops on her when they were being the aggressors getting in my aunts face and putting their finger in her face the “manager” was disrespectful and very rude. This location is extremely racist, and I will be contact corporate office. They do not belong in customer service just horrible.

Horrible. We reserved a car via the toll free number (a mid size car for $165). We arrived and were told there was no car and we had to upgrade to an SUV. We had to take the SUV because we had an appointment we couldn't miss and were charged well over twice the quoted reservation price ($403). I will NEVER do business with Hertz again.

I went in here yesterday to see about renting a truck. We have used hertz for years. The place stunk so bad, a very strong potpourri that after less than 5 minutes of standing in line, my throat started buring so Ieft. I even said something to the lady in there as I woke out about them having to much of it. These companies need to take people with asthma into consideration when using these toxic smells. We won't be back and I am currently trying to reach out to corporate regarding this matter.

Bureaucracy and Protocols are terrible with this car rental company experience. Having your call Hertz phone number when the car needs something and getting things approved for their rental car has not been fun fast or convenient but I'm working with them to try to stay in a good rental. Unfortunately they're the only one I can rent from in town. With some adjustments to the company I think the customer experience could be greatly improved there's potential for this company to make it back from the brink but the way customers are being handled needs a lot of work. The local employees are doing their best they're often overworked and understaffed.

Renting a car is never fun for me. The rude or indifferent clerk. The wait time. The crappy car selection. The high pressure pitch to buy their insurance.
However, none of that happened when I rented at this location. Easy online booking. Came in to pick up my car and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Sonrisa was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to do business with. I booked into an Altima but decided to upgrade (reasonable price) to a Toyota Crown, and glad I did. Drove almost 1,000 miles non stop in 14 hours, and back, and the Crown was very comfortable and ran like a champ. The final bill was what I expected so no surprises.
If your looking to rent, make sure you at least check rates and availability at this location. They will take care of you.
