So I love shopping at JCPenney for the deals on jeans but I wanted to get some face cream at their beauty shop and so I did. I purchased some face cream and when I arrived home it wasn't in my bag so the cashier must have forgot to place it in there

The store was being revamped, so things were in disarray. The registers have all been moved to one location in the back of the store. Definitely less convenient than usual registers through out JC Penney stores; not a fan.

Staff was friendly, went to the salon looking for my usual biologe conditioner but none in stock. Although none on the racks employee offered to check in the back without hesitation.

Employees working the jewelry counter behave like they are shoppers, not greeting customers, not behind the counter. Employees were just kinda floating around the area, avoiding customers. Went in to get gold earrings for my daughter. I ended up going to another place close by. Much better prices on jewelry in other parts of cottonwood mall.

Here's another department store that I'm glad is still available as an option to me for shopping. I think I may have said in other reviews that I love being able to actually see and touch clothes that I may potentially purchase. Shopping online is sometimes quite convenient. But what I found is they don't really represent the clothes very well. Sometimes clothes are bigger than they tell you they will be. Sometimes the colors are not right. Sometimes I just can't imagine how that will look on me until I get it. And if it looks terrible, I've got to send it back.At JCPenney, I can touch the clothes, I can try the clothes on, I know what I'm buying and I like that! There's just no substitute for a department store.If you're not convinced go take a look at the thousands of people who posted on YouTube and tick tock about the clothes they bought that don't look anything like what they were promised comma and had to be returned.But sticking with jcpenney, I found them to be helpful and have a good selection that I could choose from. They are an old-time staple of Albuquerque and I hope that they continue to do a business here.Sorry about not getting any pictures.If you like this kind of review be sure to click follow.

Nice clothes for the whole family. The European lady in the kids section is very nice and helpful. We bought our kids a few pairs of school shoes for the low.

I gave 3 stars but usually gave 5 stars. Not much great sales they had before Covid. And it didn’t seem as welcoming or as vibrant as before Covid either.Seems like even Retail Shops are giving up on what their stores look like or even caring on bringing in customers with some what decent sales. I love to shop at JCPenney when school started before Covid. I would get seriously 5 pants 5 shirts sockets/undies and a backpack for my daughter for less than 200$ with my coupons and codes. Now my total came out to little over 400$ almost doubled. Had to put back and rethink what was more important to purchase..To JCPenney:Please look into how your store looks and maybe give out some decent % off or decent $ off a purchase of certain amount or higher.Thanks ….

The manager Cathy was making my experience today shopping very very uncomfortable. We were checking out in line. She was standing so close and claimed she was "checking". My aunt asked her not to stand so close to us and we don't want to start an argument. She was just staring at us. Then this old white lady behind us skipped the line and kept hitting us with her cart. Cathy was just letting it happen and let her skip the line which was long and we waited 30 mins in. We made it know to that lady she was too close as well. Cathy moved across to the otherside where the cashier was at. While Cathy moved she elbowed my sister's ribcage. I am furious this is not a great and friendly manager.

The associate greeted me, asked me twice if I needed any assistance, and was very friendly during check-out. I wish I had caught her name. It's not very often I experience that level of customer service.
