I am deeply disheartened in leaving this review, I reached out to Simon Gonzalez in hopes that he could help my Mother and I find a home in the Bernalillo/Rio Rancho area. Something not so extravagant as I mentioned the home would be just for the two of us after my dad’s recent passing. Which is the reason we are searching for a new home for new memories and a new start as it is too painful to live in our current home where we shared with my dad. I realize not every realtor is eager to look for a home that isn’t worth over a million dollars from the jump, but I explained what we are looking for to Simon. He asked if we had been approved for a loan and I told him no loan is needed and once we found a home that suited us best that we would pay the full amount for home in cash. Simon then asked me to take a screenshot of our bank account for “proof of funds” I told him proof of the funds would be when we find a home we like and pay it off in full. I found this to be not only beyond unprofessional but rather offensive to say the least. I told him he wasn’t the realtor for us and he responded with a thumbs up…WOW!! It’s baffling to me why anyone would seek help purchasing a home without the means to do so, yet that seemed to be the implication. As a business owner myself, I would never tolerate this kind of behavior from someone representing my brand. This experience left a bad impression, and I would not recommend working with this agent.

Levi Gonzales and his boss Gary Walker, of Realty One of New Mexico, are both extremely unprofessional people to work with! They both lied about promising a home purchase for months, and broke that promise to people I know (the homebuyers), by selling that house to more affluent individuals. I warn you to not contact this company, since both of them, and their company are extremely untrustworthy.
