The Kimo Theatre is a great little old intimate theater on the legendary Route 66 in Albuquerque. It is a historic and lovely old building with stunning, unique architectural details and decor, including old photos. It is a distinguished, cool, and charming venue that has been saved and is part of the city's history. The theater provides a fantastic, top-notch setting for concerts and events, hosting both local and well-known artists. The atmosphere is vibrant and filled with energy. The acoustics and sound are fantastic and not too loud, with a great P.A. system that enhances the music for an immersive experience. The seating is comfortable with an excellent view from almost every angle, including the balcony. As an older building, leg room between seats can be limited. The lobby is easy to navigate and the staff are friendly, helpful, and contribute to a smooth, fun, and enjoyable experience. They offer snacks and drinks. It is a wonderful and memorable venue.
