I am sorry to see the negative comments about my Credit Union. My Mom and Dad were Kirtland members for decades and I became on in 2009. I have had nothing bad to say. The people there are supurb, never a problem. Always remembers me, even if I go in twice a month. Miss the coin counting machine-That's it. They work hard to help me. Dan M

I have a chk/sav acct, and we have a chk/ sav and home loan at KFCU. I've had my acct for 30yrs, ours 25 yrs. Home loan 3 yrs. I've called numerous times, left messages. All I'm trying to do is be able to send some of My money from my acct to our home LOAN!!! Our home loan has a recurring amount taken out each month with the same acct numbers as our checking acct. KFCU says there is no way for me to send a extra payment to out home loan when or for whatever amount $ I want. YouYou YOU

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Alex from your Rio Rancho Branch. She is the true definition of customer service, She was polite, engaging and truly a wonderful person to work with. Because of her dedication to the customer, I would without question recommend all my friends to become members of the KFCU. Truly an outstanding individual. She deserves a standing ovation for clearly understanding what customer service is about.

I've been looking for a vehicle for over 3 years and I finally found the perfect car with the help from KFCU on Alameda. Laura H was very helpful and helped me every step of the way. I will recommend people here and it's always best to stay local. Thank you Laura and the staff at Alameda!!

Very unhappy I have never had a bad experience with this bank and I give the benefit of the doubt with the very outdated systems and processes. But to tell me you cannot release a hold on a check because of the way it was deposited is absolutely a lie! I am a nursing student as well as a hospital employee. Before working in Healthcare I worked in banking for over ten years!! I do not like being lied to!! Things have been rough and my partner recently changed jobs which changed our pay schedule not to mention it is the weekend before a holiday! I am told that my deposit will not be released. I.am honestly looking at a new credit union now. I have other products and I have no problem moving them.

My partner and I have never had a negative experience here. Even when we (many years ago) had awful credit...they worked with us to help us pay that debt off and increase our score. I appreciate how friendly the staff have been every time I've ever gone in.

We belong to KFCU for over 20 years. Today ran into another issue with this place. DO NOT BELIEVE any of the advertisement on the website. For example. while inside "my Banking" where you have to log into your account your greeted with a ad that shows "YOU'RE PRE SELECTED" check your offers below. Congratulations- You're PRE-SELECTED for a special low rate at KFCU. You can choose any of the loans below, now's the time, you're a step closer to having what you want- with no need to fill out an additional application. So I filled out the simple questionnaire for a 2.49% refinance car loan. We have a 4.64% now (1st bad mistake) well you have to read all kfcu fine print. ''''(IF YOUR A MEMBER HERE AT kfcu YOU DO NOT ""QUALIFY"" ) how's this for being pre-selected because we satisfied certain criteria for creditworthiness, which we previously established. I can't wait to pay off our credit card her so we can go else where. If you have a credit card with them you Have to a checking account too. And if you don't keep a direct deposit kfcu will charge you$. WOW! They want your money! Double standards here.

This bank is garbage! Said I owe an overfraft fee though I already paid it. Can't beleive they treat service members the way they do! Absolute garbage. Never will refund an overdraft fee even if it isn't your fault. I use USAA BANK mainly and they're incredible switch to them to get the respect you deserve.

They service a loan for my car and h helped consolidate my credit cards for a way lower interest rate. I honestly have never had a problem the 3 years I've been calling. Actually no, one time I went to make a payment and it was deposited instead of applied to a loan which resulted in me getting a letter in the mail threatening repossession. That was annoying but as soon as I called they figured it out and reversed late fees

Waited in the lobby to open a new account. Was my turn when someone jumped in front. I asked if they had an appointment. He said yes, my appointment was at noon. It was 1:30 PM and the banker said oh he's next. That person was never waiting in the lobby at noon. I know because I was there the whole time. Based on principal, I left because that person showed up at 1:15 PM. Terrible customer service practices.

Unwilling to help my family and I out during the 2018/19 government shutdown. I'm a member but didn't have direct deposit and they wanted nothing to do with me after they heard that. I told the customer service agent I would be willing to change my direct deposit right away but she said nope, I can't help you and BTW, I have absolutely zero empathy for you and your situation. I'll be refinancing my auto loan with Rio Grande CU ASAP.

Their computer systems needs up a dating. My payment was later because of the system. My online account had a zero balance but on there's I owed. My fault!!! Thanks kfc...
