The head of the Omega + Tissot department, was not an expert in the watches she was tasked to sell, was rude the entire time and treated us like second class citizens once she found out that we weren’t jewelers. Being in the market for a luxury watch in the coming months, Mati left a sour taste in my mouth with regards to Omega, Oris, and Tissot. Unless you’re dressed like royalty and make your wealth known, don’t expect to be treated with respect.

This is the ONLY place to buy a NEW Omega watch in NM. Large selection of Omega watches and very knowledgeable. I have been looking at Omega for 3 years and finally made my purchase at Mati! Great experience. Omega Authorized Dealer.

I talked to one of the managers Miguel. And he was truly generous to spend time with me in the store. A couple watch brands I knew of but didn't know much about he provided me not only a hard copy handbook of the material but some information that he knew offhand. Even though I walked in out of pure curiosity I left with a little G-Shock for my daughter. And made her experience extremely enjoyable while making mine memorable. Her little watch was a fun moment and soon bad habit lol. Great experience overall

I tasked Mikaela with a very hard task to accomplish. I asked her to find the original mold for a ring that was my absolute favorite and I felt so lost without it. It was originally purchased in The Florida keys around 1989. She was able to locate the mold and had one made for me. Much to my delight!!!! Mikaela was very personable and friendly and went out of her way for me. I am now the owner of my angle fish ring and loving every second of it. And I promise I will not lose this one

I never thought I would browse a boutique like this, but I went anyway expecting to be treated like a ruffian and dismissed with little fuss. I was instead given center stage, and treated like a person well beyond my own means. The ladies made me feel almost like a celebrity, patiently answering any and all questions with aplomb.After over an hour of indecisiveness, I finally broke down and made a purchase, the first of this kind I never thought I would make. Friendly, knowledgeable, personable and reassuring, I could not have felt more welcomed and valued as a customer. I cannot recommend Mati highly enough.My purchase was not insubstantial, but I walked out feeling like a million bucks, and not simply because of the bespoke watch on my wrist.

My husband and I first became acquainted with Mati Jewelers and Phyllis Larouge in 2012 when Phyllis assisted us with our purchase of my engagement and wedding rings. We were impressed with her knowledge of precious stones and her creativity. The Kabana design of my wedding set is both timeless and unique, and of impeccable quality. Over the years we have continued to work with Phyllis. I have spent many happy hours at the Uptown Mati location talking with her about jewelry and life. Phyllis is a joy to work with. She and her colleagues at Mati have helped my husband and me tell the big stories of our lives through jewelry!

Took my ring in to get it fixed because one side of my setting was knocked loose. My whole setting was wobbling a little bit. They did a fantastic job and it looks like amazing! It looks as if it never broke!

Phyllis Larouge has been our jeweler (and now friend) for some years now. She is extremely knowledgeable and so helpful! Matì has the most beautiful jewelry we've ever seen as well. Highly recommend!

I just had occasion to visit this fine establishment for a minor watch adjustment. I was received by the staff, particularly Miguel and Chris, as if I had just made a million dollar purchase. Both were genuinely personable, knowledgeable and warm. I had a exceedingly pleasant visit out of proportion to such a minor repair. The next time I'm in the market for another Omega, I will not shop anywhere else. Exceeded expectations.

Around 1997-98 my Wife bought a beautiful Bracelet that I had seen on the cover of a magazine that was in our hotel. It is a Silver with 5, 14K running horses. We are from Alaska but my Wife is from NM so she travels often to see family. I fell in love with this bracelet , I only remove it for X-rays etc. I had caught the tail of one of the horses about 13-14 years later and she took it with her and they replaced the entire horse ,re-blacked the silver background and made it look new!, I don't even remember them Charging for it! Now it will be 25 years and I still love it, it has received more compliments than I can count ! I am sending it with my wife next week when she goes to visit family to have it polished and anything they think it needs. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do the work. The week after we bought it I met the Mom of the salesman while in line at ABQ Horse Track, she was walking behind us and commented on the bracelet and she had one also, got to love that! In 25 years this will be the longest it has been off my right wrist.

Very Relaxing Atmosphere.Miguel was very attentive, nice and answered all questions.All staff are relatable and do not make you feel uncomfortable or awkward even if your buying a G-SHOCK watch.

I cannot begin to begin to express how helpful Mikaela was in assisting with repair of my pendant. I used to live in NM and my necklace was damaged . I now live in AZ and had sent in my pendant for repair. She was extremely helpful in heling me define which stone and even helped me with selection for an additional piece . Great customer service is what keeps me supporting this awesome business even from another state .Their pieces are beautiful and transactions were easy .Thank you Mikaela !
