The Shower was halfway exposed and the water stayed hot for like five minutes shower head wouldn’t stay in place. We did complain to the main people who own the motel about the water issue, they had no interest in fixing the problem. They made false accusations against us and called me and my mom delusional about the water being cold, how unprofessional. Sad to so say that they could care less about our comfort knowing we came from an apartment complex that currently has no hot water. We were looking forward to having a nice comfortable hot shower after 2 months of having to take cold showers. 10/10 Do not recommend!

Honestly, I wouldn't even give a star if I had an option. The first day was awful. There was no hot water. The open shower made it even colder. No one was there to give me another key to another room due to no hot water from the other room (19). They said someone would be there at 7 am. They mentioned due to the inconvenience the latest could be 9:30 am.

Room was great and clean but the room next to us kept us up until 330am and the front desk didn’t help us at all. We ended up having to call the police because they were throwing things and screaming.

Very modernized vintage motel on Route 66 near Old Town. The room was very nice, but as others have posted, the lack of shower door causes a puddle and slip hazard. Sometimes you just need a good old fashioned shower curtain to do the trick. I wasn't personally bothered by the live music, but could see how it might irritate guests who have to sleep early. The taking up of guest parking spaces during the evening is another issue, as I was lucky enough to get the last space at the end of the motel, far from my room. Perhaps some guests weren't so lucky. Very nice pool setup. I would love to stay here again, great place.

I've been staying here for a decade. The older owners were warm and sweet but like many things an update was overdue. Boom- prices have doubled to 140 for these simple pull your truck up to the door rooms. Thats understandable for all the modern changes but anymore and it'll top me out of staying here. I love the additional Momo Lounge with great drinks after a day of driving complete with loud DJ neon lit bar; it would make a great gathering for sure & I simply sat at the bar but there's outside seating. I couldn't hear the music from our room so that was good when I needed to get to sleep for another long drive across the Southwest. Rooms are clean, modern, & naturally homie for a relaxing vibe. Definitely a great classic stop for a halfway point between SoCal to Dallas.

The room smelled pretty bad because of humidity.External people use the parking of the motel, and as a consequence, there is not enough parking available for the guests.Room looked fancy but was not functional. Example: impossible to shower without having water all over the place.Laundry machines were broken.DJs sessions disturb the calm of the place.Plus point: location.

Stayed here three nights and loved it. Small but sleek rooms. Located a short walk away from Old Town, the Aquarium/Botanical Garden, and a lot of restaurants. Hector was a fun bartender at the Momo Lounge located on the property. The only thing I'd criticize was the lack of a shower door which was a bit strange, but other than that everything was perfect.

Good place to stay for our Route 66 trip. Location near old town is great. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice staff. Loud Karaoke show (at least I hope it was Karaoke) going on in the outside lounge in the evening but it was quiet by 10pm.

This was the best motel I’ve ever been in I think. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave, and the room was so modern and clean. We didn’t get to use the shower but I’m sure that was great too. The outdoor pool was also so clean, and empty when we used it. Wish our stay was longer here!

Let me just preface that all of the employees working here are great and my complaint isn’t with any of them. This motel is nice, but it’s all surface-level. The showers in the room try to be modern but they lack functionality. All of the water seeps out of the shower, creating a hazardous puddle. The door to the room isn’t sealed all the way, so water came in from the outside when staff was cleaning — meaning we had another puddle of water in our room. The pool and lounge play music on most nights, which is fine, but some guests would prefer to go to bed earlier. They blast the music until 10pm but some of the locals hang around later — taking up parking spaces from the guests. On one day, the pool gate was left open (usually you have to scan a key card to get in) and it seemed like the pool was just overrun with locals. As others have mentioned, the check-in is the same area as the bar, so there needs to be more signage or an email sent to guests beforehand explaining this. There is also no one on-staff to help with issues during the day. We saw one person cleaning the outside areas (and they were lovely and helpful when we needed them) but no one ever answered the phone the entire time we were there. Before we checked-in, we tried calling the motel to request an earlier check-in and no one answered.Overall, this motel has potential but it only cares about gentrified vanity. I guess that’s what happens when Portland moves to ABQ.
