My family and I had stayed here and it was overall good for the price, clean rooms, good customer service. We stayed for 2 nights as the place we were visiting was about 15 minutes away so if your looking for a place to go i would recommend this hotel.

Right up front, please understand that this Albuquerque stay was part of a 13K mile trip, and along the way we have stayed at many Hotel 6’s across many states (we travel with our dog). We know what a typical Hotel 6 provides.I reserved 2 rooms a couple of months ago to take my parents to the Balloon Fiesta. My parents needed a first floor room, and because I had requested a room near their’s, this is the room we received. Again, a picture is worth a thousand words. There was an actively leaking water pipe just outside our room. The fallen ceiling tile and water was making a mess outside of our room, making it impossible to enter without tracking water and debris inside. Because I needed to be near my parent’s room, we put out a few towels and “sucked it up”.When my parents arrived late that evening their room was infested with cockroaches. When told, staff provided me with roach spray (they offered to go spray it themselves), but the room was simply not inhabitable, so my parents were moved to a different room. I believe that the staff compensated them for their experience. So, thanks to the staff for trying. However, Hotel 6 should have SOME minimum standard. If so, and if spraying water leaks and active roach infestations are below that standard, I am not willing to explore how low it might be, regardless of the pet policy.

Zero stars all around! We had a room here to stay throughout the balloon festival. I will say the front desk lady was very sweet, sadly though this was the one and only enjoyable aspect of this stay. As we got to the room there must've been a leak or something that caused a cave in right next to our room, not only was it unsightly, but it dripped very loudly throughout our entire stay. When we got into our room, the floors had not been swept or mopped and were absolutely filthy. There was a distinct urine smell in the bathroom. In our booking we stated the room was for 3 adults, but had only enough towels for 2, and no remote control to operate the television. We called down to have a remote control brought, and asked at that time to have the room swept mopped and more towels. Then we began seeing bugs crawling on the walls and floors. They were roaches. The more we looked, the more we found. We had to move one of the beds over a bit to fit a walker in between the beds and there was so much filth underneath, including a shrimp tail. Just yuck. We had no other option for lodging as the balloon festival books out so far in advance. What makes it worse is due to the event, the price for this awful stay!!! Price gouging for lodging. Very displeased. Hope this helps someone else avoid the awful experience we had as we couldn't even finish our stay and left 1 day early.Rooms: And the property responds about the cost, not about the majority of the issues. SMH, do yourselves a favor and avoid this motelSafety: Homeless person with all belongings including a dog upon our rewritten to the room seemedto have been kicked out

Moved to the Carlisle location after disaster at Coors location mid Oct. Check in folx were a delightful family. Worked with us on room needs. Nice room. Not totally redone but very suitable. All the staff were helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. Washing machine needs some help. Told that is a vendor. Wish had landed here earlier.

I’ll give it to whoever runs the Motel 6 account for standing on all ten toes but damn, when you have issues from bullet holes in the walls to collapsed ceilings due to a broken water main, there’s really only so much you can say or do. But who doesn’t like to double down when wrong and respond with replies touting photographic evidence only as “claims” and “being unhappy with the accommodation”.

I don’t know how you can rate this any more than 1 star. Maybe some of the other rooms are better but for my room (118) it had a weird smell to it. It gave me a slight headache, nothing terrible but enough to make me wonder what is up with the smell. As soon as I stepped in I had to think of it would be better to sleep in my car but obviously I don’t wanna waste my money. The smell in the room is also on the pillows and sheets so that wasn’t good and most of the lights didn’t work besides the bathroom and one of the sides of the bed. The other flickered and one just didn’t turn on. I didn’t feel safe because the door didn’t feel like it would be closed all the way and I had to make sure twice during the night that it was closed because it just didn’t feel safe. The room was on the lower level and maybe I just had the bad luck of being under someone who wanted to be the loudest person imaginable, but in that room you can hear everything that everyone is doing (except for talking thankfully) I heard the constant steps walking back and fourth, I heard things being moved around, water running, etc. So having bad smell, loud noises all night, and not feeling safe doesn’t make a good combination. Honestly, I could probably get past all of this if the rooms actually looked like what they did in the pictures. I thought I was getting a nice room that would meet my needs for my stay, but I got an empty room with barely the minimum of what a hotel should provide its guests. I paid $100 a night (which was a higher rate due to the Balloon Fiesta which isn’t an isssue) and I checked what the normal rates are for regular days which is about $55 a night. I mean, for $55 a night you can’t complain about that, but for certain tourist attraction dates, it would’ve been nice if the hotel took more care into the rooms for the higher rates. I wish I took pictures for the review so people know what they’re really getting but unfortunately I didn’t. Anyways, long story short, it’s a bad place to stay. Pay and extra $20-$30 for a better hotel and you’ll be okay.

October 2023 by This is so fucking cute
The woman next door was absolutely disgusting! I opened the door to tell her to quiet down as it was 2 in the morning and I was trying to sleep and I was instantly hit with a very strong odor of fish. It was the worst thing that I’ve ever had the displeasure of smelling. There were roaches all over the floor too. In the apartment was a whale, her mother, her brother, and a little dog that bit me. I was horrified and nearly threw up on the floor right there from the nauseating smell and scene, then the whale woman got up from her moldy seat (she appeared to be filming a TikTok live) and got in my face. “YOU RUINED MY LIVESTREAM!” She screamed at the top of her lungs directly in my face, her disgusting breath assaulting my nose. “I-I…” I didn’t know what to say. I was so disgusted. “GO AWAY!” She said before swinging her head around so violently that some of the roaches in her hair were ejected and flew directly into me and slamming the door so hard that I was pushed back by at least 2 feet. I was so traumatized that I had to be involuntarily committed to an asylum that night and stay there for the rest of the week just so I could speak again and I’m having daily therapy sessions to help me cope. Absolutely horrific!

This motel is overall normal, good pricing, average. It was convenient because me and my daughter are on a road trip from Phoenix to Miami and we needed a place to stay. The room was nicely cleaned, kept tidy, bathroom was average. However, next door to my room were two obese women, And I could hear yelling and arguing coming from their room. I went to their room and knocked on the door, asking if everything was okay. When a woman opened the door I instantly got hit with a absolutely terrible odor, and there was a dog in their room. When I asked if everything was okay she started arguing with me saying "You are ruining my livestream!" She then threw what appeared to be a silicone rose at my face that smelt like fish. We ended up leaving early due to this. Do better motel 6, do better.

I stayed here about a month ago and i am going to share my experience. I went in to my room and it was pretty nice. I enjoyed my stay but i have one complaint. In room 262 there was a really loud women. I went and knocked on her door and found out her name is “tophia”. before i knocked i noticed a really bad smell coming from her room. When she opened the door there were roaches and it reeked of a bad smell. During the night I could hear tophia yelling at people on her phone. after that around 1 AM i hear a loud vibration noise coming from her room. I asked her what it was and she threw her “rose toy” at me. Overall my stay was good, except for my encounter with this woman.

We were treated very rudely and lied to. Requested a bottom floor room due to being in our 70's. Was told to come back in an hour. Then told they had no clean rooms yet. We were so exhausted so they put us up rickety stairs and as far away from the stairs as possible. There was very few people there when we checked in. In the morning the lot was full so they gave the bottom floor to people who came after us. Stay away from this place unless you like being abused!!!!!

I stay here periodically and it by far the safest, cleanliest, and professionally run Motel 6 I have been to Albuquerque. Ms.Pauline & Jasmine, as well as Mr. Daniel are absolutely great and so helpful! The rooms are clean and the place is free of bean-ridden zombies and their company!Safety: Safest Motel 6!

The rooms were decent and staff was friendly. Our biggest problem was a woman in a room next to us who was constantly yelling, I knocked on her door and asked her if something was wrong, she was extremely rude and ignored my concerns. Her name was Tophia I believe, and she was incredibly unpleasant. I have seen multiple reviews about her on this page and I have to say, why hasn’t this issue been addressed? How can you allow such a rude woman to stay on your premises despite your costumers having incredibly unpleasant experiences with her. I hope this issue will be addressed.

This hotel is convenient being right off the highway and had a good selection of restaurants and stores nearby within walking distance. Check in was a breeze and the room was clean as well. Definitely recommend anyone visiting Albuquerque to stay here!

Me and my sister came to Albuquerque for a trip and we stayed here but our room was right next to 262 and the family staying in that room had a dog who constantly barked and all we heard while we tried to sleep was a loud tv with the volume turned all the way up, arguing, an old woman coughing her lungs out, and cans opening every minute. The next day we left to go to our car and as we came out so did this lady from room 262 and we smelt a putrid stench coming from from the room! It smelt of moldy, rotting chicken, dog feces, pee, and even vomit ? I don't like being disrespectful but I had to gag and I nearly THREW UP!!! I think the womans name was Tophia because i heard another woman in the room say "Tophia come back real quick." She gave me a dirty look when she noticed I had a breakfast sandwich. VERY RUDE!!!Overall the experience was okay but im picking the motel on our next trip.Never coming again until that stink is gone.

When me and my family were going on a car trip from Chicago to California, we stopped here to sleep for the rest of the day. But we can not sleep without hearing some banging on the walls and smelling a really stinky odor from one of the rooms. My son was looking in the window and told me it was some really big woman that looked horrendous. We quickly left after a hour of staying in the hotel and we are never going back here again!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place
