I have been seeing Dr. Pacheco for a few years now and this is one of the best experiences I've had with an optometrist.
Eden was very helpful while I was looking for glasses that work for me.

I have never seen better in my new progressive lenses!!! I’m very sensitive and get migraines easily and theses lenses have never given me any problems. I adapted immediately to them when I first put them on. The Flexon frames are extremely comfortable and Dr Pacheco and her staff are so professional and friendly! I’m definitely going back for a second pair!

I've been coming here for years and always get to see the same doctor. Dr. Pacheco is always thorough and sends a letter to my primary care doctor every year and has helped me with managing my diabetes. In a state where my primary care doctor changes every four months, it is so nice to have this consistency!!
I have a complicated prescription and it has always been made correctly and I see better with my new progressives then I ever have before. I guess, if you are looking for the cheapest place in town you and don't want consistent, quality glasses and health care then you might not be happy. I ALWAYS APPRECIATE THE GREAT CARE I GET. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I went in to pick up my daughter's prescriptions and mentioned that we were going to look at Costco to purchase her contacts. The man who answered the door was extremely rude and said I could not have a sample contact for her because I was going to look at Costco. Whatever happened to customer service? Extremely rude. I will never recommend this place.

Billed my insurance when I was never even seen! Fraud and was asked to not go again when I said I would report them for fraud! Horrible company and would not recommend!

Dr. Pacheco is great, and I felt well cared for when I had my eye exam. However, the cost of glasses and lenses there is outrageous. With insurance I would have had to pay over $500 to put new lenses in a pair of frames I had already purchased from them last year.
Additionally, it took the employee longer to put together a quote for the lenses than the time for my eye exam. I had to ask someone else to check and see what was taking her so long. When I said I wouldn't purchase new lenses there due to the cost it took another 10 minutes or so for her to get me the already agreed-upon bill for the exam and allow me to pay. This was such an odd experience. It looks like others have had very similar situations recently. I wish I had read previous reviews. I probably would have gone elsewhere.
I'll be reaching out to them tomorrow to get my prescription, and hoping I don't run into issues with this. It sounds like others have had trouble getting that simple piece of information if they didn't purchase glasses or contacts.

To answer man's questions. This place gets bad reviews on account of their non-proffessional approach to many things. They close early and dont put anything up to let people know, are guaranteed to close at 6 everyday except Saturday at 5 and yet continue to close up after every customer who goes in before closing.

While I am a HUGE FAN of Dr. Sharon Pacheco and have rated Pearl Vision IN THE PAST with 5 stars……I can no longer do this.I had my eyes checked last Saturday and got my prescription from Dr. Sharon Pacheco. All good with her. I then purchased new frames and lenses from a Pearl Vision sales person. I told the sales person I wanted to spend the money this time and get thinner lenses than the lenses I had purchased with my last pair of glasses about 1.5 years ago. The sales person said that I can do this and quoted me an additional cost of around $120 for thinner lenses and she again confirmed that my lenses would be thinner. I was so excited!! I had an eye disease years ago and my lenses tend to be on the thicker side so this was a HUGE SELLING POINT that won me over. The sales person confirmed this information, she totaled everything up and I then purchased the new glasses.
I picked up my new glasses yesterday and when I got home I noticed my lenses looked exactly the same thickness as my old glasses. I went back to Pearl Vision today and spoke with another salesperson who confirmed that I had paid for thinner lenses. This salesperson said I needed to speak to the manager. Once I got to sit down with the manager who said his name was Phil Pacheco, I told him I had purchased thinner lenses and did not get thinner lenses. He proceeded to say that because my frames are a bit larger in diameter than my previous pair of glasses the lenses end up being thicker due to the frames being larger. WHAT??? I reminded him the salesperson SOLD ME THINNER LENSES AND NEVER MENTIONED THAT BECAUSE THE FRAMES I SELECTED ARE A LITTLE LARGER MY LENSES WILL END UP BEING THICKER AND IN THE END WILL BE THE SAME THICKNESS AS MY OLD GLASSES. Three times I tried to explain that his salesperson sold these lenses incorrectly. She promised me something they could not deliver according to store manager Phil Pacheco. Phil’s resolution? I will order you a new pair of lenses in the cheaper material and you will need to leave your new glasses. No acknowledgement that the glasses sold to me never could have had thinner lenses. I never even heard the word sorry from him. Its to bad Phil does not understand how important my glasses are to me as I cannot see at all without glasses due to my eye disease. I just wanted my glasses - really my lenses - to not draw as much attention due to their thickness.

I booked an appointment online got called and I CONFIRMED the appointment for three of my family members. My husband even got a text that asked to confirm appointment and he answered yes. But when we got to our appointment they said that they gave it to someone else because I did not answer their calls when they called. I couldn’t answer their call because I work too but I did call back and left a voicemail confirming three members of my families appointment. But they said they had already gave our spots away?

Where do I even begin? This would have been my third year with Pearle Vision, and so far, I haven’t been disappointed. However, when I called at the beginning of the year, I was informed that I needed to get glasses to make an appointment. I didn’t mind because I always get a pair, but when I mentioned this to the receptionist, she insisted that it was required which left a bad impression. I decided I would call whenever, but they called me last month and asked why I hadn’t made an appointment. I explained that I had a weird interaction and the girl I spoke to told me I misunderstood, so I provided them with all the necessary information and was about to make an appointment. However, they then informed me that I needed to call my insurance company to verify my coverage. I did so, and they confirmed that everything was in order. When I called today to provide them with all the information, the receptionist was rude, so im gonna take my business somewhere else. I’m beginning to suspect that they don’t value their customers, based on the other reviews I’ve read on this here.

I scheduled an appointment online and when I was called to confirm, I was asked if I was planning on purchasing new glasses. I don't know yet if my prescription was changed or if I need new glasses so I said no. They told me they were only going to be able to see people for exams who were also planning on purchasing new frames, so my appointment was cancelled. This seems like a dishonest practice and I will not try to get eye care from here in the future and will be reporting them to the FTC and NM's attorney general because they seem to be employing fraudulent practices. You do not need to pay for frames or glasses to get a prescription.
Editing to confirm that my appointment was NOT scheduled on a Saturday, and that as an excuse doesn’t make sense or justify dishonest or even fraudulent practices.
