This review is specifically for Michael Archuletta out of the Albuquerque location. This man needs a raise or a bonus. I see this location has only 1.5 stars, well my experience with Michael was 6 stars! Maybe he needs to be promoted so that he can influence the rest and spread his very positive can-do attitude. There was an unforeseen issue with his truck while picking up our POD. The whole time he wasn't pissed or complaining how it would affect him or his day... but instead he was creative problem solving to try to still get our POD picked up, so it wouldn't be delayed for transport across the nation. I am truly grateful that he was the driver because if it was someone else they would have just given up. We had to try many options to finally get it to work. And this happened to be the day that is snowed earlier.... So it was cold!! He was appreciative of my help/efforts, it was a team effort and it was a success. I wish I knew the name of the tow truck driver. He also saved the day. Thanks to all to who helped to get it done. One suggestion: these drivers need a very strong headlamp so they can do there work safely, now that it's getting dark out. Thanks again Michael! I hope you get some recognition for doing such a great job.

The manager here was working his tush off. They almost didn't have my pod but he made sure to get one out. They are extremely busy but the manager was on top of things. Definitely recommend. His customer service was excellent.

DO NOT USE! Poor experience. I received an email from pods with an estimate window for pickup was 11:45am - 2:45pm the driver showed up at 10:30am without any update of times. We were finishing putting essentials in the pod as we are a family with small children it was our last minute items. We asked if the pod driver could give us about 20 minutes to finish and he was extremely rude to me.He showed us his schedule and we were on the schedule for 10:30, we were told by customer service that the schedule was made the day before and cannot be changed. We had hired a moving company that we had to pay for for one more day because of this and I was told that they would only reimburse us for any cancelation fees. I have not yet even been told that they were sorry for our issues they caused.

PODS was by far the easiest moving solution I've ever found. The drivers were so friendly, helpful, and really gave me a sense of satisfaction knowing I chose the right option for our move. Being able to unload our stuff when it was the right time was so much better than having everything in the house all piled up and making a giant mess. PODS is by far the best choice if you're looking to move!!

Working with PODS was easy and convenient. I had access to customer service each time I contacted them and they were very upfront about all things related to cross country moves. I verified PODS services with a friend who had used them last year to move from Maryland to Florida. They had no issues and neither did I. I would use them again if I ever needed to move, or just needed a place to store my household furniture while haveing work done on the interior.

This is an update to my review regarding PODS on 3/31 and 4/7. Althoug they posted on Yelp that they would address this, they never did. It cost me so much money because of their negligence. I complained to Better Business Bureau. PODs lied to BBB, saying they had made me an offer that I rejected. They never made me an offer or had their promised "escalation" person contact me IN 60 DAYS. If there is an offer, where is it? In my last response to them on Better Business Bureau, I asked them to produce the offer to Better Business Bureau. Let's see if they do that. When a company makes an honest mistake, I understand. but when there is deliberate intent to falsify the truth and lie about an offer that somehow they can't produce and pretending that I rejected said offer, I have a problem with that. It's called a scam. it looks like a lawsuit will be the only thing they will understand.

What an amazing experience. Customer service was amazing, which is hard to find now days. Every event was laid out in detail so we knew exactly what was happening and when. The online portal was great. We could watch exactly where our PODS were and when they would be delivered. Do yourself a favor and use PODS over a full service moving company.

If you're moving to New Mexico I wouldn't recommend using PODS. I recently moved from a mobile home park in Florida (where PODS) is headquartered. They picked up the POD with no problem on a very narrow street with a device that is meant to maneuver in small spaces. My driveway was small, but they were able to place it there. When I called to have it delivered today, I was told I would receive a phone call to let me know when the driver was nearby. (This was done in Florida on drop off and pick up)Surprise! in a state where customer service is wishful thinking, NO ONE called me and they proceeded to drop it in the street before I could get there. When I called the toll free number I was greeted by a nice lady in the Philippines who tried to call the ABQ warehouse but "no one was answering the phone." I finally got a number to call for the ABQ warehouse but got a surly and not especially nice 'manager Tim' who said there wasn't anything he could do since he was driving a truck to a repair shop. He finally got in touch with the drivers who dropped the POD in the street who said they couldn't fit it in the driveway. When I asked Tim why they didn't use the device as they did in Florida he had no idea what I was talking about. His solution was to ask me, "what do you want me to do now?" I moved to the capital city of Santa Fe where most streets are narrow and curved. Why doesn't New Mexico have the same equipment to deal with this as Florida does? I'll never recommend PODS to anyone looking for moving solutions.PODS SUCKS (PART TWO)to add insult to injury, The day the POD was supposed to be picked up came and went. NO phone Call to advise but when I called they said they'd pick it up the next day. Guess what..it wasn't picked up and is still sitting in the street. Wonder if they'll come today?Again..New Mexico has no support staff sufficient to run their operation. If you want a smooth seamless move don't use them.

The driver who delivered our POD, was exceptional. He was courteous, demonstrated superior skills in placing the POD. When we indicated where we wanted the POD to be located, he did an excellent job in hitting the spot. He asked us our preferences at every step, and informed us about his actions.

Nate was fantastic! He called ahead to notify he was on the way with an accurate ETA and dropped off the POD quickly with no issues. He was very professional and answered all of our questions and the entire process was smooth because of him!

The timing and availability of service are good. The cost is reasonable. Good customer service and billing process. The only negative experience is that the final deliver driver parked the container on the driveway and blocked the access from the garage so my car get scratched when get out. He also arrived earlier than schedule time without calling me, just dropped and left.

PODS has changed, and not for the better. I rarely write negative reviews, but prefer to write positive reviews. I am so disappointed in the first line customer representatives. We were expecting our POD to be shipped. Instead, it has been sitting close to our old home in storage and not moved since they picked it up. We move a lot. We have dealt with a lot of movers and a lot of businesses. 2 years ago, we decided to use PODS and it was a good experience. This year, we tried PODS again and have been completely disappointed.1. We have requested twice for it to be moved. Twice, the move date has been cancelled with no ETA. We have 9 confirmation numbers for this, and yet, we have been in our new home for days and we do not have our stuff moving toward us. We are now told it will be another 2 weeks.2. They are not updating their documents section to create transfers of equipment.3. During the call, the PODS representative requires you give your personal pin you set up. We do not give pin numbers out. We do know that all representatives can access your data without it.This seems to be a sticking point. The customer representative becomes very difficult.4. Additionally, when we request to speak to a manager and have the call escalated, they do not do it... They state they do not have the "ability" to transfer to a manager. They then get on the account and begin to discuss our account with us from the back end. Multiple calls, lasting for hours, that are focused on not solving problems, but what happens is a strong frustration of the customer. When I called to discuss with PODS just regarding the customer service aspect asking to talk to a manager, they would again not pass me through.5. Finally after a long "discussion" with the last account representative, and pure frustration that become a stalemate to be transferred to the customer with all calls and inquiry, we were able to get to a customer manager who was actually able to assist us. He was calm, clear, and became a problem solver. The points are, 1) the PODS should be in transit when they are stated to be in transit and not held in storage, 2) it should not be needed to give a PIN number when all other identifiers are met for security, 3) when a customer needs resolution and it not getting it, being transferred to a manger should be part of the professional experience in problem solving. Stalemating a customer and not resolving these issues only frustrates a customer. This become a nightmare of an experience instead of a logical move.I will edit this if things change for the better after we receive our items.

Overall this service is convenient for moving items without a truck, however, I encountered several errors in my pick-up and drop-off location addresses that delayed my drop-off time and took at least 4 different calls to customer service to have it resolved. Also, I received emails about my delivery window, but there were no times actually listed in the email and had to call customer service again. On a positive note, the delivery drivers were best part of the experience. They were extremely communicative and professional, which I sincerely appreciated. Despite the many calls to customer service, the answering team was at the very least responsive.I used this service to move from an apartment complex to an area with limited street parking. Be sure to check space requirements when doing a move like this and ensure that you get the proper permits. This service would likely be better suited for moving from a house to another house rather than in an urban environment.

I love this Pods location. The staff is unbelievablely great. Every single time I have had access to my Pod they are super helpful. My Pod moves all over the country following my family (our work changes cities often) and I have to say this is the most excellent, well staffed location that is efficient and organized. Everyone I have encountered goes above and beyond what is necessary for their job. I am so thankful to have the support needed to maintain our kooky nomadic lifestyle. Even yesterday I had to fly from Los Angeles to retrieve an item from the Pod and I was able to get in and out in time to make my afternoon flight. I could not have trusted this scenerio in a few other cities we have lived in. I appreciate this so much.
