Rio Grande Pool is a great local community pool with a small and family atmosphere. It is clean, well guarded, and has vigilant security. The grounds are shady with a lovely lawn and picnic tables. Facilities include a shower, locker room, and lap lanes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It is a good place to stay calm, though it can get pretty packed. A special doggy day was a nice outstanding experience. It remains a favorite place that is as close to perfect as a community pool can be.
Nice pool and facilities, large trees and plenty of shade to go around. Backs up to the zoo.

The best pool in Albuquerque! Love the big cottonwood trees! Later on in the summer and toward the beginning of the summer the hours get a little weird so make sure to check before you go.
