I purchased a firearm from Ron Peterson through gunbroker on an auction. When I received it, it was the wrong gun from the description and pictures. When I contacted them the salesman was very rude and said I was wrong. They said I could return it and he would send a return label that I never received. I sent all the proof to gunbroker with no help, they won't respond either. Hope this helps save someone the agony from buying a firearm from Ron Peterson. By reading all the reviews people can see this is a daily occurrence of rude and corrupt business. Hopefully this review will cause people to buy elsewhere from a reputable business, this is not one. We will be taking legal actions against them.

Won an auction. Item described was incorrect so I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. Easy right? Wrong! The salesman was very rude and said I was wrong and blamed me for purchasing it even though it was mislabeled. He then called back and changed his entire demeanor when he realized he was wrong. He said I would be getting a refund but guess what… still no refund! Now they have blocked me on everything because I left them poor feedback! What a joke! So now since I can’t get a hold of them I will be forced to take legal action. Great. Well hopefully I can save everyone else from this horrible experience and have them either seriously reconsider their business model or shut down. Al Padilla is by far the worst salesman I have ever encountered.

customer service is horrible! I canceled an order because it was not the item that was described and I still have no received my refund even though they already have put it back up on auction and sold it to someone else. Al Padilla is the salesman I dealt with.

I have traded with Ron Peterson. Purchase price was always fair and selling price was also fair. I will always trust Peterson's for a good deal. I do miss the retail store, they always had trustworthy sales personnel.

Great staff. Had two long guns to sell. They gave me more than asking price.

Just went there to sell some weapons, people were awesome and friendly. Gave me fair prices for the stuff I brought in. It's also somewhat of a museum, I won't give that away though, go see them yourself. Thanks again.

I truly enjoy working with this group of people. I have sold numerous fire arms to them. They give you very fair prices if your merchandise is in good to excellent condition. They will also buy your ammo if you don't need it anymore. If I'm looking for a pre-owned firearm this is my go to.

Can't rate a place that didn't give me the opportunity to shop. Doors are closed and locked.

Pretty unfriendly staff and hours don’t match to them being online, used to be a good store to visit and check their inventory but idk why they changed and became rude

I took my 400 winn-mag in and offered it up for sale. I need a rifle that doesn't kick like a mule on meth. The woman who took care of me looked it up and gave me a fair price for it. She is a very matter of fact and to the point woman. But that's okay. I will return there when I'm looking for a 22-250. They are a no-nonsense, fair gunshop.

Not a good company to work with. Only open at certain times despite answering the phone. Go somewhere else.

Really ought to change the hours they have listed online. They have no true retail store front. I went over to try and view a firearm they had listed, during their business hours, and was gruffly told that they no longer are open except for online. It was irritating that the employee acted like I should know better when they still have advertised business hours as if they are actually open.

While driving my child to daycare, The gentleman who works there and drives a white jeep threaten to kill me in front of my child for allegedly tailgating and waving my arms. I was in reality dancing with my two-year-old in the car. He would not take an apology for tailgating and continue to threaten me in front of my son. As someone who is pro gun, it saddens me to know that someone with such a quick temper is also a gun owner. I will be telling all of my friends and anyone interested in purchasing a gun to not go here.

Selling a gun here is a bad idea. I was offered about 60% of what their opening bid price would be. You deal with one person while the others stay behind pegboard . Hello I can still hear you. When you have an internet auction don't be so greedy.

On my second purchase from Ron Peterson, I got no help. I won an auction, and called several times to schedule a time for me to pick up, but they never answered any of the numbers I called. When I arrived to pick up, they said they wouldn't help me as I didn't call ahead. Since I live 2 hours away and run my own business, I can't just drop everything and go when they decide they want me to. On the first purchase, I had to call four different numbers to finally get someone, who said they didn't know what I was talking about and that if I wanted to pick up to just go to their shop and knock on the door. The woman who was there is very professional, but the other's that run the phones are not. The person to finally reached out to be about my second purchase made it seem like this was my fault and accused me of lying about arriving to pick up the item. I wish I didn't have this bad experience as their prices are fair, but dealing with their hostile and unprofessional manners aren't worth it.
