This place is closed. Went to both Family Store locations on Central and both appear to be shut down.

They don't close at 5. They will just randomly decide to close at 4:40, turn off all the lights while you're walking around, and leave. If you want friendly staff, consistent hours, and to browse, I do not recommend this store. It is an unwelcome and disrespectful place to be.

I have never been treated so bad. We were literally yelled at and screamed at for 10-15 minutes straight because my daughter needed the bathroom. They sat there and told us we needed to ask for the bathroom when we did. The employee Monica was treating other customers poorly with attitude and talking down to them. They told us we only needed to have my daughter use the bathroom so we can slip and fall to sue the store. They continued to scream and argue after we repeatedly told them sorry but my 3 year old needed to pee. Then the employee pulled out her phone and started to record us even after we told her not to. The manager and employee were being bullies to someone for no reason. I understand sticking up for an employee but watching them scream and be rude to customers in front of you and then join in is not ok. Other customers came in and even said it was a hostile environment and were worried to come into the store. The absolute disrespect and narcissistic abuse that took place at that store was outrageous. This place is supposed to support soldier and employing the recently released convicts but treat their customers and paying patrons as if they are less than dirt. The employees even lied about having men work their and then in the same breath said all the men working today day left. Do not support this store.

0n 05/06/23 I found a great bargain I purchased a very beautiful two piece “Roman Marble” glass table set for only! $100.00 one hundred dollars, I mean it is absolutely stunning my family and friends love ? it if I could upload photos I would. I was looking for a black pair of heels ? for Mother’s Day Sunday to wear to church ⛪️ we’ll guess what I bought a pair of (Jinnifer Lopez - AKA: JLO) for a discount price for only $2.00 two dollars. I am absolutely ? thrilled with my purchases. My space is limited for my studio apartment therefore, I’m now looking out for two small?️love seat’s for my living room. I will most definitely be returning. This Salvation Army “Thrift Store” location did not disappoint?

Horrible customer service skills with donation pickup warehouse manager! I made an online donation pickup, got a call they were coming and yet they never showed! Apparently they can't pick up items from anything other than the first floor. This would have been understandable if it had been mentioned in the first place! Once I was able to speak to Jose, warehouse manager, he was unapologetic! So, he wasted resources to drive a truck over to my place and instead of letting me know what the issue was so that I could bring the items down, the driver just left. This is a store that is wasteful of funds being given to the store because it's manager has poor customer service skills! I feel sorry for the company having hired such a wasteful person that should be having more concern of its resources and needs of the community.
