The teller phone ladies are the nicest I’ve ever had to talk to ever. They seem to CARE about you and have your best interest in their mind. That’s so rare these days that I don’t even know how to say thank you enough.. so again guys thank you for your service both behind the scenes, on the phone, or at the windows!!

Sandia Area Federal Credit Union is a great bank. I plan on staying with them for a long time. I had an auto loan with them and will be using them again in the future. I highly recommend them. They are responsive and care about your needs.

When I first got my new credit card from this credit union, they declined my first charge because the total was more than $1000. Airline tickets to Europe! Today, I received a letter from the credit union telling me that I still owe them $150.00 for the safety deposit boxes, and that if I don't pay them immediately, they will force the boxes open and charge me for that too! Guess what. The credit union teller admitted to me that she didn't know where to send my cash safety deposit box payment , so ...oh, well! If they didn't have the only safety deposit boxes in a fifty mile radius, I would leave them today. Don't trust them to do their actual job.

I flew into Albuquerque from Dallas to buy a Jeep Rubicon from a customer of this bank. Unfortunately, the customer was late and would be arriving in 5 minutes when I was kicked out of the lobby by the bank manager Bri. I had $30,000 on my person at the time, which I showed to Bree and yet she still insisted I leave at 4:23 pm. The bank closes at 5:00 pm on Wednesdays. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. Bri created a risk unnecessarily, out of ego.

Employees were very helpful in setting up a new account. It took me a little while to get all the documents we needed from my computer but they were very patient and understanding.

I got a credit card here, but the first charge I made was $1000+ , airline tickets to Europe. They declined my charge because it was over the $1000 limit. Don't do business here.

This bank was once amazing. I had an account for 27 years until they inexplicably transferred my checking account money to my savings and closed my account and erased all evidence of my transactions. When I called to get clarification they made false claims and told me they refused to restore my account insisting that I "re-apply" for an account. The customer service was horrible no one even tried to fix the issues. I spent an hour on the phone with them and got no where. My money is now in limbo until I can jump though hoops to have it released. DO NOT USE!!!
