An absolute disgrace of a driver. I strongly question if their driver's actually hold CDL qualifications because there's no way that a professional driver would drive like they do.
Backstory: at 21:15 on 9/26 I get on I40 heading East. As soon as I get on the freeway a Santa Fe Tow wrecker comes up behind me with his flashers. I'm doing 65 mph in the slow lane because I have an insurance GPS tracker on me that dings me for speeding. This wrecker rides my bumper for a good ways maybe a couple miles with his emergency roadside flashers nearly blinding me, almost running me off the road. When he passes me he blares his trucker horn at me, further intimidating me and just being a disgusting bully of a driver. License plate AKY704.
To the driver: I do the speed limit in the slow lane. That doesn't give you the right to run me off the road. Don't blare your horn at me. Or try to intimidate me. You need to reel it in, driver. You're on the road to accident, injury, fatality with the way you were driving tonight.
Extra credit: the wrecker is in the midst of towing a red SUV. Someone has trusted them to tow their vehicle to a safe destination. And here they are driving like an unhinged psychopath and a public menace.
Shocking that this driver uses not just a company vehicle to road rage with, but also whilst towing one of their customer's vehicles.
Absolute liability.

The rudest most nasty tow truck driver towards my son. What is wrong with your guys?! Train and retrain on being professional, courteous, and decent to customers - period! Customers who are probably already stressed and anxious if they’re having to get a tow! Don’t need snarky, sarcastic and downright rude drivers. I’ve had them as well when I needed a tow from your company. Thanks for making an already bad experience worse for a young man. Shame on you. If I had the drivers name I’d post it in here. I give Zero stars - AAA shouldn’t use this tow service.

Rudest company I’ve dealt with. I was in a car accident today and the PSA had my car towed. While trying to figure out rides and work and my car situation the tow company sent was Santa Fe Tow. So rude from the driver to the dispatcher to the owner. I was trying to figure out costs because I’m on the side of freeway and the driver told me I needed cash only. So when I called and asked the cost for having it towed to their yard the person who answered had to first find out who even had my car because the tow driver left before giving me any info. I found out it could have been upwards of 300$ and that’s picking it up the same day The driver also told me he would call dispatch to find out the cost for me having it towed to a relatives home before leaving and then said he had to go and just left didn’t even get my phone number from me. I chose getting its towed to a relatives house that’s 120$ to put it on the truck and 5 dollars a mile so I called to find out the cost so I could have cash as they told me I could only use. They gave me a total of 210$ so I called and made arrangements. Well when they arrived it was 275$ because the person who I spoke with entered in their tow yard address as the starting point NOT where he picked my car up from. I understand it was a mistake but when someone’s relying on a total so they can be prepared what would they have done it we don’t have enough. So when I called back to find out why it changed she said it was a mistake and I feel I’m not responsible for that mistake. So in asking for information so I could call back and talk to a manager the girl hung on me. When I called back after 3 when the manager/ owner would be there she acted as if I was in the wrong and I was not worth the time to even speak with she made it clear several times I had more time than she did also kept interrupting me when I spoke. Even had the audacity to say while I was on the phone to someone else that she was going to be on the phone for a while cause I was going on and on. They did apologize for the mistake and but wouldn’t even listen to the complaint. Telling me I had too much time on my hands and I could just talk all day. Treat a paying customer with respect. I paid what you asked and you still couldn’t take accountability for your employees multiple mistakes and rudeness.no stars if I could give it.
To just reply to your response ma’am we were not on the phone for 30 minutes I have my call logs. When I spoke to you we were on the phone for 15 minutes and half of that time you spoke over me instead of just listening to my complaint. Do better!

Through AAA Roadside Service Santa Fe towing responded with a technician named Leroy to check my car battery as my car wouldn’t start.
Leroy told me the battery was bad and would be covered by the AAA Battery warranty. However, he’d used the last battery my car required. I asked when he’d have one, thinking he’d have the ability to go get one. He told me the following morning. Meanwhile I should drive my car for 20 - 25 minutes to charge the battery.
The next day he came and did another system check and surprisingly said no, no warranty coverage as the battery was good.
My car continued to be slow to start and finally wouldn’t start. My brother jumped my car and I drove to Jiffy Lube to have them check my charging system. I was informed the battery had a dead cell and needed to be replaced.
A different technician Jo’s responded and told me if the battery had a dead cell there’s no way it would start at all, but he would do a system check. Obviously, the battery check demonstrated a dead cell. Long story short he replaced my battery for free under the warranty.
Is it possible my treatment at these technician’s hands was due to my age or because I’m a woman? There’s no telling, but both talked to me as if I was a complete fool.
I did in the end lodge a complaint/ dispute with AAA Roadside Assistance.
If I didn’t have to use Santa Fe Towing I certainly wouldn’t and maybe you shouldn’t either. Buyer beware.

Shout out to Mr Shae Garcia for making a bad experience even worse. My daughter was in a traffic accident, Santa Fe tow showed up and was very rude. Then got confrontational when he was asked to tow the car to our collision repair shop instead of his tow yard. He started yelling that was not how things were done and then said if that was the case he would only accept cash. Very unprofessional and traumatized a young driver more than was already necessary. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend them to anyone.

AAA sent Santa Fe Tow my way when my vehicle needed a tow. Carlos was quick to respond, friendly, and did a wonderful job dealing with my car and getting me to where I needed to be. He had me feeling at ease (which is not how I started the afternoon once I realized I'd need a tow) and went above and beyond to help me out. Thank you so much for the excellent service! Highly recommend.

One of their trucks taking up or blocking every handicap spot in front of the Taco Cabana on Menaul, when there is an entirely empty parking lot behind them. Insane to hire drivers who'd do this?

Dennis with Santa Fe Towing is an angel! He got me and my Honda safely off I-40 during rush hour yesterday and dropped it off at Garcia Honda before they closed. Then he was kind enough to take me to the Enterprise Rent a Car so I could pick up my rental before they closed which was crucial because I still had 6 hours to drive to get home. Dennis was so kind and efficient I never felt stressed through out the whole ordeal. The lady that took my call for a tow was equally kind and efficient and helpful. My overall rating for the company and employees is
a slam dunk 10 out of 10 because 5 stars out of 5 stars isn’t enough.

I just had the pleasure of having Mike Brown, sent by my request from AAA, come to my aid. He was professional, kind, helpful and explained things noone had ever taken the time to tell me. I deeply appreciate his kindness and would definitely recommend him for employee of the year and give him a raise!
