Deli people RUDE n unprofessional, the lady I talked to was soooo RUDE. Their breakfast burritos are a mashpotato based. Disgusting. Now the cashiers in front, omg angels. They even give silverware. But their deli NASTY N UNPROFESSIONAL. Just grab one of their cold sandwich or salad. Pretty n good. Skip the Disgusting behavior in deli.

Only a block from the Albuquerque Amtrak station, Silver Street Market is a full service supermarket that does a really nice job catering to travelers in transit. We were traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago on the Amtrak Southwest Chief, and Albuquerque was a maintenance stop on the way. This meant that we would be at the station for at least 35 minutes, and would give us the first opportunity to do more than stretch our legs at a stop. Our cabin steward suggested stopping by this nearby market for supplies and souvenirs. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the station and they were well staffed with cashiers to check us out. We were on the meal plan so no need for snacks. But I wanted a bottle of the green chile wine and a prominent display in front made it easy to pick one out. Cost was $12.99. Checkout was a snap so got back to our train in plenty of time.

This is THE best example of an independent, urban home style grocery shop. They have EVERYTHING you could need - and a tasty deli counter with fresh baked goods. It’s in the heart of downtown Albuquerque, which has many homeless. In this place, I regularly shop along side - the beauty is the staff welcome them and treat us all with the same dignity and respect!

I live in downtown Albuquerque and this market is only a half block away. They have a good selection of grocery items as well as a great selection of beer(craft, Ipa and domestic). The owners work there as well and their staff is very courteous and helpful. I don't know how they do it, but the people they employ are consistently great to interact with. I've never had anyone that didn't go above and beyond in their customer service. I highly recommend this store and even if you don't live nearby, you should shop there occasionally or as much as time permits.

This place has literally changed traveling by train. Great pit stop, and has everything we need (including hot food) for the long night journey west. Thank you Silver Street Market.

Good selection, great staff and clean inside but the location isn't the best/safest but they have security walking the street sometimes. I did see someone pee on the building when I was there so hope this give you an idea of the area

Something has changed and it's for the worst. I gave a raving review not long ago, but I cursed myself. I went in not feeling well as is, but when I got screamed at literally like I committed murder, I was in shock. Unbeknownst to me, my dog had an accident and (completely out of character) peed a little on an empty cabinet they had in the walkway. He's never done that, or I would never consider bringing him in, and I most certainly would've had wipes, etc IF I were disrespectful enough to bring him in If he was one to do that. But, no. He's always gone with me & not a single incident. I asked her to please let me clean it up and did so promptly. The cabinet was filthy and black from who knows what....that empty, random shelf in the walkway has obviously never been cleaned until I did so. I was wondering why my dog actually did that..- he smelled other dogs on it. It was disgusting. So, y'all are welcome for doing your job & cleaning a shelf that serves zero purpose other than to collect filth & draws animals to mark it. And, thanks for letting other animals urinate regularly around the store , marking their territory as their owners shop, but nothing is said to them. Wow..... Worse, I try to give the market not just business grocery wise but also on wine and alcohol products, regardless of the higher markup & I also shop for my patients periodically there as well to pick up items for them when I can. I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses. We all need to help one another when possible. The older man checking me out however shook the bottle of alcohol I brought to the register , along with my other items ,loudly announcing you can't buy this and snatched it off the checkout as if I would actually grab it? . Who does that to customers?? Shouts, Your license is expired. I explained if so, it couldn't be my much. I was exhausted and not feeling well, so I didn't think to question it & I would've agreed with him rather than making a light statement on the time period, if I really thought it might be expired. He answered like a smart ## saying it's been two months! Yikes. I just put my head down at that point...why the need to be so ugly and yell, especially in front of a line of people and over alcohol of all things? Have some tact for God's sake rather than degrading me for kicks. I mistakenly gave him the wrong card, but he didn't care much less simply ask it that might be the case. He had his mind made up. He was super sweet to the two girls before me though. Then, I remembered he and another lady who works there are two I make a point to avoid bc her behavior to selective people is unreal and unnecessary, just like his. I don't see any of the amazing employees there any longer either who were always a joy, & I truly looked forward to the pup and I taking our walks there often to shop, bc everyone made us feel at home. I've been a loyal customer for years. That ends today. They win. Thanks for making me feel like I didn't deserve to be treated as a human being.Management, please handle the workers who are literally cruel and only to certain customers. It only takes one and they beat me down today... finally. If they don't like their job or believe in treating everyone the same, they really should move on. It's a rare occasion if I write a negative review, but I'm in shock. I felt attacked, belittled, and defeated. Plus, I expect so much more in only the best ways. I tolerated it before when it's happened, but it was too much today. I walked out and left my pets' food & my few items right there bc he was so degrading and a downright bully. No one deserves that.Good luck. He and another older woman on top of today's screaming girl is going to be the end all. So disappointed and hurt

Was able to walk from the Amtrak Station to the market, purchase what I needed and get back in plenty of time. A large "small" market and no big box store feel.

It's always welcoming atmospheres good no rude workers always eager to help a lot of homeless people that hang out but they don't bug they're just hungry and you can tell the drug addicts from the ones that are really sincere but no bugging you can go in and out with no hassles and they don't bug you at all and there is a lot of police around so you are safe around there and the staff there and the workers do watch out for you and will escort you to the car if needed and there's always police officers and security on hand very very safe shopping and very very beautiful and pleasant to do I recommend going to the store if you're downtown go to it they have pretty much everything cigarettes and your drinks a little sidebar you can get your submarine Sandwiches coffee a little bit of alcohol beverages and beer yep they got everything there that you can want lottery tickets pretty much everything yep and a good reasonable price too and around the corner you got various eateries and the restaurants in the same place and upstairs apartment

I love this place! I just started visiting recently. Their breakfast burritos are good, and everything else is reasonably priced compared to similar stores. Everyone working here is super nice and friendly.

I love Silver Street Market. I work down the street from them so I pop in a few times a week and I've always had great customer service. It's small, so they don't have a large selection of everything, but the selection they have is quality. The manager and cashiers are extremely friendly and always make conversation. I know they have a lot of challenges with the unhoused population near by and that just makes me respect them even more. I will always support this local grocery store!

Love this market. I usually bring my very energetic pup with me & they're always so gracious and welcoming. There's always a particular employee who, if working, gives him lots of attention so I can check out with ease. It really feels like family when I shop there. Ty to everyone who works there. You make it a lovely place to shop.

I'm one of there regulars and have been going to them for years. And they are one of last remaining places to find amazing wholesome good customer service. Amazing salads and the sushi isn't bad either. Prices aren't too bad either. I just love going into this store. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Nice little corner market located downtown. I think they are overpriced, but they often help the homeless, so I overlook that. As long as you aren't overly selective, you can usually find whatever groceries you need here. Staff is quite friendly too.

Great little corner store! I took my 5 yr old to get something for dinner. We ordered off the deli menu. All the staff was very helpful, the deli lady was patient and amazing with my 5 yr old, whom is autistic.Wide variety of items and again the entire store staff, at least out of the ones that helped us or interacted with us, were totally awesome. Customer service at its finest. Thank you!
