Their option for an individual size is great too, definitely looking out for the single person lol! I would definitely try out Skarsgard Farms if you are looking for fresh seasonal produce and tasty convenient meals that make yr life easier!

Lots of different options and I love that it's based on seasonal availability! Precooked meals are a plus for me, the less time I spend in the kitchen the better! ❤❤ would definitely recommend.

Wont use this service again. I can get better bakery items at Costco, the Croissants were terrible. A Pineapple i got was hard and green and never ripened. I do NOT like cart policies. Prices are high !!

I've had Skarsgard in my life for 6 years and they have always been consistent in quality and service. Produce is perishable and nature is not always perfect, but I've never ordered an item I couldn't use in some way. I find I spend less money than going to the grocery store because I don't make impulse purchases. I'd like to add my opinion on the persimmon comment- I've enjoyed many a fuyu persimmon from them with the soft flesh and juicy the way mother Nature intended.?

I received my first order today and I couldn’t believe how beautiful the produce was! I had some of the bacon for dinner and it was delicious. I will definitely be ordering every week from now on and I’ve already told several people about you.

Skarsgard Farms has been in business for a LONG time in the ABQ NM area, they started out in the north valley, distributing goods out of this tiny shak & now they have grown into something sustainable and thriving. Especially for their customers, even during COVID They never missed a delivery, even during times their were shipping delays statewide. They are all about fresh, local & most importantly sustainable. My parents used them growing up & for the last 6 yrs They’ve been providing goods for our small family. Whats great is they have customizable boxes for small, medium & large families. Get this no contracts & no commitments, plus for a small fee they deliver to your door. Super Local Businesses, support Skarsgard Farms.

I’ve decided to give this place two stars as I’ve had some decent experiences with them in the past, especially with some of the baked goods and meal kits. However, I’ve most recently had a very ‘1 star’ experience which was also frankly a little weird.I was excited recently to see that they were selling fuyu persimmons as I’m a huge fan and haven’t seen them a lot of them available in New Mexico. I added a large number of them to my order, despite the price.Imagine my disappointment when they arrived so soft and over-ripe that I had to throw them away immediately. (Fuyus are meant to be eaten crisp to slightly soft, like an apple.) Honestly, though I would have left it at that without leaving this review (probably just not ordering from them again) if it wasn’t for what came next. The following week I received an email from the company wanting to explain about the fuyu persimmons they sold me, explaining that they are extremely astringent unless eaten very soft. They emailed that it’s another variety (the hachiya) that is eaten crisp. This is just simply not true.It is actually the other way around, as a simple google search will confirm. The fact that this email was sent makes me think that they must have received a lot of complaints about the state of the persimmons in the first place and that a) they don’t know what they are talking about or b) they are trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes and make excuses.I shot an email back (with a link about fuyus being the non-astringent variety) to point out the error and to confirm that the fruit really was too over-ripe to sell. The response I got back was just plain weird. It simply said that the person who had sold me the fruit was ‘enjoying the fantastic taste’ but that ok, they’d credit me. There was no acknowledgement of the fact that they had sent out plainly false information to their customers after selling them over-ripe fruit. I kind read it as insinuating that there is something wrong with me for criticizing ‘fantastic’ fruit and pointing out the really odd error in the email. (I also had to throw out the tangerines I bought for similar reasons but since I didn’t get weird emails with false info about those I won’t go into that further.)I won’t be using the credit of course as I won’t be buying from this company again. I just don’t feel like I can trust them to, at best case to know what they are doing with food handling etc and at worst case to not cover up bad food with excuses and/or false information.

At the start of the pandemic I began getting my food delivered from Skarsgard. I've already had my Covid booster shot but I'm never going back to Wal-Mart. The quality and variety is outstanding for me personally, I'm supporting a local business and although there have been a handful of times when items are missing or the amount is wrong, that has been rectified by their staff via e-mail every time. It's more expensive but at my age time is more valuable than money. I have nothing but good things to say about their food and will be getting my groceries there for years to come. I also tip the driver every week as a courtesy to service workers. I don't believe the one star reviews here. I've never had anything spoil or go bad in two days. none of my food has stickers that say it came from Mexico.
