I ordered dozen hard rolls to be picked up today. Not only were they baked fresh and still on the racks, but the bakery lady was very efficient and kind. Cashier was very hospitable. Usually they're snobby at this Smith's.

I just spent nearly half my paycheck on groceries here and $20 of "fresh" chicken was absolutely spoiled and rotten! It's not even expired! I hadn't opened or tampered with them. I tried calling to see how to get a refund because no way am I driving over there with it because it reeks, and no one answers. I just wasted $20 worth of food which only had 8 chicken breasts (4 in each pack) and they're completely disgusting. I wouldn't recommend any produce here at all

Came to get stuff for our spaghetti dinner, instead had the WEIRD night manger (guy with a little pony tail) follow us around and take pictures of me and my children with his cell phone... Need less to say we will never come to this SMITH'S location again... Asked at another location if this was policy and they said to not go back that they had never heard of such a thing being done to customers.

It like they don’t check the expiration dates or bother to check items that are molded and look damaged. Couple of times I did not look at a bag of tortillas that had mold between the folds. I bought Hagen-Dazs ice from here and it seem the ice cream had been left out to where all ice cream bars had melted, on top of that, they tasted like they have been sitting there for a long time (freezer burn taste). I would not recommend shop here if you want fresh food. Surprise this place hasn’t been shut down yet.

Been coming to this grocery store for years. A true regular, probably 3× a week. Last Friday afternoon around 4 o'clock, I needed a few things for the weekend so I stopped on my way home from work. Got my groceries, basic stuff meat, eggs, milk, etc.Went to self checkout, the total was $61, I swiped my card, it said purchase declined, I thought it was weird because I had the money in my account... But another bill had been pulled before I checked so I had $57 in my account. Smiths took that and then declined my sale. Leaving me with 0 funds on my card and no groceries. I showed the attendant the clear charge on my card, she called over several managers, they kept denying it took my money when it clearly did. So I called my bank, there was a charge for $57, I had the bank speak to them. Still denied me being charged and said it would be reversed If so. There was a middle aged manager that was particularly rude and didn't want to help at all, forgot her name. So after an hour of going back and forth I left minus $57 in my account and no groceries. They stole $57 from me and instead of making me pay the $4 difference like they should've on a partial charge they embarrassed me, took my time, money and were wrong the whole time. It was never reversed I had to dispute it with my bank, it took a week I barely got my money back yesterday afternoon. One person helped and his name was Dennis Baca, a manager. Besides that horrible and you lost a loyal customer that day, do better.

My elderly mother and I felt so uncomfortable at this store today. I sent my mom to self check out well I went to grab a bag of chips Smith's gave me for being a valued customer. When I came back my mom said she put the code for the wrong tomatoes and onion and was waiting for the attendant to come. I pushed the button for help two times well she went and helped others that came to the self check out after us. I noticed the whole time a security officer was watching us and getting closer and closer well we scanned. I then needed more help and like the last time my mother had to physically walk up to her and get her attention for help. When she was also watching us. I we got everything figured out and noticed the guard stopped hovering over us when we completely checked out. My mom has heath problems and is frail and skinny. As her care taker I already have a hard time getting her to go out because she feels she will be judged for her weight. I spend from $800 to $1000 dollars at your store a month. I have never been treated like this or felt like this after leaving any Smith's. I need to be contacted my a manager that can get this situation to not happen again. Not everyone that looks skinny and sick are drug addicts going to steal from you. Some people have legitimate health problems. My mom is even more unset then me about being judged.

I stopped in at this Smiths on 4th st Friday, Aug. 4, 2023 around 5pm. I went to use the restroom the same time an employee was using the restroom (women’s). As I was washing my hands the employee walked out of her stall and straight out the door. Confused that she didn’t wash her hands so I followed her to see where she was returning. She walked straight back to behind the deli and proceeded to handle the deli meat. I saw the sausage in her hands as she assisted a customer. She didn’t wash her hands after using the restroom and continued to handle food. That was the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed.

Sorry had to give it a bad review because of the deli hours. I got there a little after 5 and it was closed. I've been here way later than that and it's open. I asked when it closes and was told "random times " "it's best to come before 4". A lot of people do t get out of work for that.

This Smith's is alright. I like it because there's generally not a whole lot of crazies that hang around and it feels safer than other stores in the area. There are two consistent problems though. The first is that their produce is almost never fresh. The second is a bigger problem in my opinion, and it's that they do NOT pull expired product off the shelves. I used to work at a grocery store, and sometimes half the job was pulling expired/ near expired product. After coming home to find I purchased expired food for a third time, I started checking everything I put in my cart. Yesterday, I was in a rush and grabbed a coffee drink, just to go home and see it expired in MAY. Huge safety issue. It's an alright place to shop, but check your food!!

Smith’s Boost program is a joke! First time my shopper didn’t know how to make substitution for celery and obviously needed training. So no celery.I’m retired, no car, can only shop once monthly, so I thought this service would be worth a try.Second time shopper got the wrong brand of sliced cheese and it only showed up as a substitution when they checked out. Don’t know if they just accidentally got wrong one or made substitution without telling me via text. I had a coupon which was now not used. I did get $5 credit BUT for next order.Third time tortilla chips I requested were out of stock. No problem as my shopper sent text showing substitution which I approved, and showed it was made. However, after delivery I discovered no tortilla chips!! After chatting with “live person” on their app all I got was EXCUSES as to why I didn’t get the chips!! Got email from Smith’s on problem, replied sending them pics (which live person said I COULD NOT DO!) and NEVER got the courtesy of a response. Guess Smith’s knows they messed up and won’t acknowledge it. Not worth it.I personally believe this happens so that I will have to make another order which must be over $35, for them to make more money. And I bet on a subsequent order something will also be left off.

The ABSOLUTE MOST DISGUSTING GROCERY STORE IVE EVER BEEN In!! Filthy! The trays under the produce are GROSS! You open the doors for cheese! What is going on?!Floors haven't been mopped in who knows how long?! Mouse traps everywhere! I only bought packaged items! I was creeped and grossed out!! How has the city now shut this place down !?!?
