I bought a bag of blue corn pancake mix from here and about a week later in my pantry, I checked it and to my disgust it had maggots in it. MAGGOTS. This has never happened with anything else in my pantry, nor with other stores’ blue corn mix. Thoroughly disappointed as I am a out-of-town visitor and was visiting ABQ. Really wanted blue corn pancake mix.
EDIT: I appreciate the owner’s prompt response and customer service for this issue. Thank you!

The food was fantastic! And was 5 star quality... BUT the service is ONE STAR is slow... thus I split the difference at 3.
The staff is NOT in any hurry for anything. No quick hello, no warm fuzzy feeling that anyone was glad I came in, no help with the menu or guidance on how to order. I was so hungry I could have eaten a buffalo.. and so I over looked all that and just ordered. We waited 20+ minutes for our soup and sandwich. The weird thing was... they pre-make the soup and sandwiches AND there were maybe 2 or 3 orders tops on a Sunday at 130pm. 15 minutes or less is industry standard.
I did pop my head in to (what I thought was) sweetly ask how it was coming... the cook must have not liked that because I felt the daggers shoot out of her eyes when she said she was finishing it up.
So... if you go don't go overly hungry, don't be in any hurry and don't speak to the cook, and be prepared for the owner to be unconcerned (because that is the way she made me feel when I shared my experience with her).
Food good...
...Hospitality bad.

Stood at coffee counter for about 5 minutes. Three people working, no one said "hello" or asked what we wanted. Just acted like we didn't exist.

Take it, literally by the name tiny grocers. Very few groceries. They have organic eggs, some fruits and peppers, wild mushrooms, and grass fed beef. There is an adjoining café.

Really nice and colorful place on the plaza. Lots of delicate items. Keep arms folded so you don’t break something. Helpful staff. Wife shopped here and bought some amazing deals

Visiting from SLC. Magical! Incredibly thoughtful and beautifully curated market. Don’t forget to grab lunch at the cafe! The pad Thai was so good!!! Also the soups are outstanding. Great service and friendly folk! I’ll be back.

The breakfast burritos were insanely good and full of flavor. I had the tofu scramble and at most places tofu is an afterthought but here they did it justice. Went back for seconds. I enjoyed my coffee with the burrito as well.

I really wanted to love this place. The grocery is nice, great products, but the restaurant/cafe......for $20+ we ordered 2 meals, chicken salad and a bowl of posole. We received a SAUCER of posole, one tortilla. Chicken salad was 1/2 cup on some arugula with no bread whatsoever!!! I bought a loaf in the grocery for $7.50 (!) so I could eat the chicken salad and by god, that's it for me, not ever going back to eat there. I'm just sorry I didn't get a photo of the Tiny Meals.

This is my second time here to dine in. And I just have to say both times it was just a big okay. And never great. I can't quite pinpoint it, but for the lack of flavor, it is incredibly expensive. Two 8oz non-alcoholic drinks and two meals cost nearly $50. It's a very casual place too so can't quite marry the price tag and the atmosphere. The staff has always been very nice, so I appreciate that.

I was only in ABQ for a few daysbut visited Tiny Grocermultiple times. They make an amazing matcha tea!! Their store has gorgeous produce fresh from local farms. The lettuce was wonderful and the tomatoes were beyond delicious - just the way i remember them fresh from my Mom’s garden. I brought home some green chili powder and red chili powder from their store and I am still enjoying wonderful memories of Old Town every time I taste these wonderful flavors. Lovely indoor tables and nice outdoor venue!
