I am proud to say I am a New Owner of a Twilight Home. These homes are beautiful and great prices. They offer so much. You need to stop by and checkout the homes. There are still some available! Make sure to ask for Svetlana, she is an amazing person. Great realtor!

My wife and I bought in Lavender Fields Subdivision and we couldn't be happier with the home. I would like to mention that this is our second Twilight Home owned and live in. If I could say one thing as a home owner to the team at Twilight Homes, I would say Thank you for always taking care of the end result. (which is Happiness with my purchases)

Dealing with twilight homes was the most disappointing experience I had when I first started looking at purchasing a new home. From having to continually pick different lots due to their mistakes with the lot sizes, to being scammed out of my Earnest money!Dealing with Joe(managed the new subdivision/sales) was disappointing due to his lack of taking responsibipity, and 0 professionalism. trying to get a hold of the owners wasn't possible. Would never call me back, and when I would go by the office, they were always out of town. at the end of the deal when I pulled out within the parameters of our agreement, and ZERO progress to my house ever being started, they refused to return my Earnest Money!I would NEVER, EVER, Recommend this company! They said, if I wanted my earnest money to take them to court. They are HORRIBLE!

Dont trust Twilight on your money. I paid $5000.00 as a deposit to buy a house contingent upon sale of my current home.after extending for 3 months and 4th month they sold the house and kept my money without telling me they sold the house. It is more than 32 days, I still didnt get my deposit back. They kept promising oh....you will get this week then next week. Still no check. After this week i am planning to file a case if I didnt get my money this week. Dont give up. This is what they do. I heard simillar stories with Twilight.

My home building experience with Twilight Homes of New Mexico was amazing from start to finish! From the design process with the ownership team and Kevin, the finish selection process at the design center with Matt, the fantastic construction experience with Jeremy, to the absolutely seamless and incredibly responsive first year exclusive warranty process with Joey, Twilight Homes managed to exceed my admittedly unreasonably high expectations in the custom building process at every single opportunity! I could write a novel on my amazing experience with Twilight Homes, but I'll settle for telling everyone I meet that they would be crazy to even consider any other builder over Twilight Homes of New Mexico!Services: Custom home design

I reposted this in the Twilight Homes - Tierra del Oro post, just to make sure other home buyers interested in the area see the post as well.As a first time home buyer, my significant other and I had no idea what we were getting into, and we had no previous knowledge of the real estate market. Instead of relying on friends who are agents, we decided to straight to the builder. Thankfully, we were paired up with Omar, the Twilight home advisor, and we couldn't have picked a better person to navigate the situation we had in front of us. Not only did our home finish on time, but Twilight was patient enough to deal with our tricky home buying scenario. When we visited the house, Doug was nice enough to open the home for us and inspect the build, even when Omar wasn't around. Omar has truly become a friend and went above and beyond to help us.We had Jeremy as our original superintendent of the area, and to have him as a homeowner in the subdivision gave my fiancé a sense of comfort. To know that a super is around the area goes to show their personal trust and integrity of the neighborhood. As time went on, they transitioned the project to Mario - and by far, he was an exceptional super who helped us during our debut walk and closing. Not only was he detailed oriented, but he's come back a few times to help us with little finishing touches. The warranty requests were something we, as first time home buyers, were really nervous about, but so far we've had Tom and Lori paying great attention to tiny hiccups that have been out of Twilight's control. Our tankless water heater hasn't been the easiest to learn how to transition to, and Lori and Tom have been super kind and patient as their vendor fixed every small problem we've ran into. I'm also of the school of thought that a vendor (subcontractor) isn't a reflection of the main general contractor's work, and our water heater service has been a challenge to overcome. However, even if it's not Twilight's problem, they've taken steps to make sure they take care of it as if it was their own.The quality of the build has been exceptional. Paint has fantastic finish, carpet and tile have been installed without any flaws, and the cabinets have been high quality. We did a few custom bathroom modifications and upgraded to a nicer patio door, and the upgrades were well worth the investment. The windows and doors have been very sturdy and the quality of the craftmanship has been great. Also, these new appliances were a really great pick - probably the best appliances we've ever had.On the first day we moved in, Tom, Jeremy, Mario, Omar and Lori greeted us with kindness and compassion. Vinnie was even nice enough to join us on their debut walk. The neighborhood has been as nice as our first day. It's quiet. It feels safe. The workers in the area are really kind. The neighbors wave, and the laughter of the neighborhood kids is a joy to hear.Service: Home building

From the start issues with the new build. Sheet rock bulging in island and they were going to leave it that way until I said something. Covered wiring outlets on roof I had ordered to be installed with stucco!! I continue to have breakers trip in the dining/kitchen area and two bedrooms. Subcontractors they use may not be licensed and definitely have little experience. Had to replace HVAC system at the tune of $8500 dollars. Stucco has been cracking since build causing water damage in one bedroom. No response for warranty work when called. Company split into two builders after my build and got rid of build superintendent when my was finished. Wish I had gone with a different builder. This is what you can expect at 6 years into the finished home.Go somewhere else.Service: Home building

To keep it short twilight hasn’t held up to anything they have said since we signed our contract for a home in February of 2022. We were first told home would be started in March-April time not at all didn’t start till the end of June. Our sales guy told us our house would be done by July time nope he also said they were waiting on permits to start so we called the city of Rio rancho and guess what they didn’t have anything so he lied mind you this whole time we were told the house was going to start asap. We were also told that we would be able to switch sales people because the one we have is horrible and doesn’t communicate at all not even a little lied to us cause he didn’t know I’d assume. The people at the front office were the ones that told us and also said they talked to the owner of the company but guess what still the same thing nothing has changed still have the same issues as we have had since February 2022 and into now October. This is the first and last home I ever will buy from the company. STAY AWAY save yourself the time and energy we learned the hard way.Service: Home building

The house in Estrella Del Norte is good for the most part, but the home buying process with this builder was choppy. At the walkthrough before closing, I noticed that the peninsula in the kitchen was missing and the color of the cabinets was not correct. I was told that there was nothing in writing stating that we ordered a peninsula or the color of the cabinet. Although I could not find any documentation, I find it hard to believe that there is no official document listing the options/ preferences from a buyer once we agree. They could not produce a document that we signed stating that this was what we want. We were told by the previous salesman Joe (no issues with the current one) that what we ordered included a peninsula and a white cabinet package which is the same as the model home. At the walk through we were told that the white cabinets (in the model home) are not even an available option, which does not make sense. When did it change, and when were we notified? Without the peninsula we don't have a convenient seating area for our young children or the additional cabinet space that we were counting on. There is literally 1.5 drawers total to hold utensils in the entire "standard" kitchen layout. Further Twighlight did not honor the word of their salesman or offer any other compensation for what we think are pretty big oversights. Our real estate agent was a witness to what we were promised and offered to help us with what she could. If you choose to purchase one of these homes (or any other) I would recommend getting every option and preference documented. You don't want to get to the walkthrough and closing very upset as we were.

To say that I am disappointed in this property and Twilight as a company is an understatement. Me and my partner were relocating from Denver to Albuquerque and were super excited to move into the new development called Estrella Del Norte in the North Valley. We were one of the first people to sign our contract back in early Jan/Feb. The property was supposed to be done in July, but things were pushed back due to COVID. I totally get that some of it was out of Twilght's control, but the way the sales rep, Joe, handled the situation was super unprofessional and not a good way to do business. Since we were still in Denver we had to rely on Joe to be fully transparent with progress and status of the project. He would constantly tell us what we wanted to hear. He would always tell us that they were going to break ground next week which would give us false hope. Next week turned into months. And he would never actually reach out to us, we would have to try and track them down for updates. All we wanted was the truth and straight answers so we could plan accordingly, such as getting a temporary rental, but the truth never happened. Fast forward to now, and we had to withdraw from the contract because it is still being built and we could not wait any longer. Twilight took our $3,000 for an upgrade and earnest money because they wouldn't mutually terminate the contract. Our realtor had been trying to get ahold of them to see if we could come to an agreement on the $3,000, but they legit would ignore his calls and not give us the time of day. What is terrible about this is that not only did they take $3,000 from us, but they now listed our unit for $15,000+ more than the price we originally locked in. So not only are they stealing our money after failing to deliver what they promised us, they are also price gouging the next person who buys the unit. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This is just terrible business and Twilight should be ashamed. They claim that they are a local business who is here for the community, but clearly all they care about is their pockets being filled. With the way this whole situation went down, it concerns me how many corners they are cutting to get this build done. Because after all, they can't make any money until people move in...well I guess they can make money off of you like they did us. Be careful with this unethical company...

Overall, very disappointed with the service we have gotten. We have only lived here 7 months and have submitted more warranty requests than I can count. Just to name a few, drip system had to be replaced and now every week I have had to call the landscapers to fix the drip system, dishwasher wasn't draining, we had a leak in our master bathroom in the shower and bathtub after they came out two times to tell us they didn't see a leak and after the third time they finally decided to remove the tub and found the leak, we had a leak in our kitchen sink, first day we moved in we couldn't lock the deadbolt, our power flickers on and off all the time and many other issues I would would list but this would turn out to be longer than a novel. Anytime I express my concerns for how many times we have submitted a request they say, "Well we can't predict what will happen". Ok - well my concern is when my warranty ends in a few months and we have had this many problems in 7 months that means this is going to continue to happen and then WE will be responsible for this after the year warranty ends. Main office lady is rude and when I expressed my concerns to her, her response was ,"Well did it get fixed? So, what's the problem?" So far, no one has done anything to help us or dig deeper into the quality of the build we got. As far as I am concerned, I wouldn't recommend them which is sad since I was trying to support a local company. If you want to deal with problems with no real concern from them, then Twilight is your perfect place to start.

I built a home with Twilight Homes and could not be more impressed. From the beginning, the Twilight Team has been knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and helpful during the process. As this was my first home, I was nervous I would make mistakes or make the wrong choices, but Tim, Vinny, Alex, and Kevin helped me choose the best floor plan to fit my needs and answered all my questions. Jessica at the design center was spectacular! I got to choose the colors and features inside my home, with minimal upgrades because I liked the standard features. While I’ve only lived in the home a short time, any warranty issues I’ve had were taken care of quickly and easily thanks to Tom and Chris. Reneé at the front desk is always so kind and courteous. I absolutely love my Twilight Home and highly recommend them!!Services: Flooring
