Veterans Integration Centers (VIC) is a dedicated nonprofit in New Mexico, established in 2005 to combat veteran homelessness. The organization ensures that 90% of donations go directly into programs, supporting the Veteran community, and boasts a 78% success rate of continued housing placement after 12 months. In addition to housing, VIC provides community services such as clothing and food assistance. They offer food on Mondays and Fridays before 1 pm, with additional support for household needs through case management. The staff is highly praised for their genuine care, kindness, and commitment to ending veteran homelessness. Many appreciate the organization’s efficiency and respectful approach, feeling that VIC truly saves lives and cares for those they serve. The staff here definitely favor male veterans, as far as politeness and caring are concerned. With the exception of one senior, female staffer. She is very professional, friendly and helpful with males and females alike and I give her kudos!
