I understand that some things have to be locked up, but no one ever came to unlock. When I walked out, two cashiers with one working and the other talking to the first. Two stars because I usually don't need things that are locked and its no problem. Ordered item on Amazon as I walked out. Wanted to support physical stores, but can't when the item is locked up.

Pharmacy is an absolute joke. Not only do they seem undertrained but this lady began being rude over two additional questions I had, then hung up the phone in the middle of me saying “thank you I appreciate your help”🙃

I have nothing but issues with filling from this Walgreens.
Latest example:
I was given a 90 day script from a manufacturer that I can't have due to allergies to fillers used.
It clearly states on my profile I can only have from this med from one of two manufacturers due to this.
I got very sick and it took me a week to realize it was the prescription.
I called Walgreens to correct this and get the specific manufacturer needed They said they would correct it and have the other meds from the correct manufacturer in a few days.
Three days later and I still didn't hear anything from Walgreens nor did I get a notification in the app.
I stopped by on my way home from work on the fourth day. The tech tells me I can't pick up the meds since I already did two weeks ago. I then re explained the issue. Had to tell them again that I needed the other manufacturer. Apparently the prior tech didn't order the medication.
This tech, who's name is Wendy, says she will get the correct manufacturer of the med ordered. This is the second tech to tell me they will order it.
I wait another 3 days and stop by. Again...no one ordered the medication. No one. I'm given the same convo that it's too early to refill. I KNOW! You all gave me a medication that I can't have. I got violently sick and now y'all are refusing to order the meds from the proper manufacturer.
This tech, who's name is Manny, then tells me that Walgreens can no longer order from either of the two generic manufacturers for this medication.
I haven't had my meds for almost a month now.
I'm told that there is a Walgreens across town that has some of the meds from my needed manufacturer. This Walgreens refused to call that Walgreens to get this all sorted. Nope, I had to then spend 30 mins waiting on hold to talk to a tech there.
They say they will have it ready by the end of the day, that is yet to be seen.
This is only one example of a miss up. I have had to go multiple weeks without meds multiple times a year because they don't know how to order medication.
Do better. I'm unfortunately stuck with Walgreens due to my insurance. Otherwise I would never use them.

While I have been pleased with the pharmacy department's service in the past, their current performance has been disappointing.
Although they have my medication in stock, I continually receive delay notifications and experience difficulties in contacting the department, with my calls frequently going unanswered or being disconnected abruptly. I understand that periods of high volume can occur, but when I leave a message, I never receive a return call, or when I do, I am told that my medication is ready, only to find upon arriving at the drive-thru that my medication has not been processed and I have to wait a couple of days.
It is essential for pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to recognize that prioritizing patients' and customers' health is a critical component of their position.

I should have checked the reviews! I have COVID and they did not notify me that one prescription I needed was not in stock and would not be available for 3 days - got that information from the auto feature when I called 4 hours after the prescriptions had been sent in. I called to ask about transferring the prescriptions. I was on hold on my phone for over 18 minutes which then hung up on me. Called again and finally got a person five minutes in. The pharmacy I called to get them transferred to asked how soon I needed because this particular Walgreens is challenging to get a hold of on the phone. No kidding!! (Did confirm that the pharmacy I am transferring the prescriptions to (one is for Paxlovid because of my age and symptoms and has a specific window for starting) have all the prescriptions ordered by my physician).

Phones don’t seem to work at all. The calls drop before they can even transfer you to a department. When it come to prescriptions that’s insane

This pharmacy continues to delay and lose prescriptions vital to health. I'll continue encouraging this store to improve. At this time, this store is awful.

The pharmacists at this Walgreens are incredible! I’ve always had easy transactions at this pharmacy and they are incredibly responsive to their customers. Yesterday they went above and beyond- I was picking up needed medication for a dental problem and even though they were busy, they filled my order right away so that I could get pain relief. They really care about their customers and I’m so appreciative of their care!
