The Day You Rent Away I almost can't believe I'm writing a five-star review for a car rental place, and yet here I am. We did technically have our rental thru Alamo® but there was no one at their desk (it was Christmas day), so we were sent here to their sister company at Enterprise® to complete the transaction. The Good: *Booked thru Costco for an eight-day rental for a small SUV for less than $100/day--including taxes and fees. *The lady working the desk, Yvonne, was outstanding; friendly, fast, efficient, and didn't go too hard on the insurance upsell. *Once we were done, we were sent to the lot where a friendly gentleman named Miguel *ACTUALLY WALKED US TO OUR CAR*!! Lord, in heaven, I got a case of the vapors and thought I was going to pass out. These places usually just turn you loose in a sea of vehicles and say, "Good luck and don't let the door hit ya where the dog should've bit ya." I'm looking at you, Baltimore... =T The Meh: *They didn't have any small SUVs left (I felt that Seinfeld bit about taking but not keeping the reservation creep into my head), but fortunately, Miguel hooked us up with a Toyota® RAV4™ upgrade for free. The Ugly: *The car exterior was a bit dirty, and a few of the windows were downright filthy. I'm not sure if this car had just been returned and they hadn't had time to clean it yet or what? Regardless, it's not really a big deal. TLDR: I still can't believe I'm giving 5* to a car rental place, but they definitely deserve it. To quote Kramer: It's a Festivus Miracle!

Car was fine, service seemed great. Filled the car up 5 minutes prior to return. Asked the nice lady if she would send me a receipt. Indeed she would. Sent me a receipt that I was able to look at the following day when submitting for reimbursement. They added on an extra $70+ charge for gas, for an already full tank. Luckily I had taken a picture of the receipt from the gas I had purchased five minutes before returning, and Enterprise refunded me the money. So beware! Take pictures of your receipts. Someone in their operation is crooked.

I received a response to my review and submitted an email as suggested. I am still waiting for a call back. Given that it's Friday, I'm a loosing hope that I will reach someone this week!

This was the only car rental company in Alburqurque with a line. Book Avis or Hertz or even Budget if you want to avoid standing here for an hour after you arrive. While Budget had three clerks, Enterprise had only a single person helping people. They will ruin your vacation by refusing to properly staff their locations. I'll update this review when I actually get my car, but if you're looking to get out of the airport before the turn of the century, look elsewhere!!

We were in vacation and decided to rent a car. The waiting area was nice and clean with plenty of space for my family. The bathrooms were clean. We checked in and it took about 15 minutes to get our car ready. The staff here is very professional and friendly. They gave us a little hero in great condition. The guy who check us out was very helpful. The return was a breeze with no hassle. Definitely recommend this place.

Make sure you check which forms of payment are accepted. This location DOES NOT accept debit cards unless you have a return flight ticket. I had to use this location because no other Enterprise had the vehicle size I needed. I used the App to set up my reservation. The App did not warn me about the types of payment accepted. You have to search for it in the "tips" section. Also they do not accept contactless payments. I have an Apple Credit Card but they only have a magnetic strip. No Apple Pay (please get with the times). Luckily my dad was able to put it on his card. Got to the lot and they just gave the last similar car away. What's the point of a reservation? They were able to find a larger vehicle. Very dissatisfied.

Friendly customer service, easy access, fair prices. Upon arrival, we were offered an upgrade from our reserved car to a fancier one for not much extra money. This sounded like a good idea, but the car itself was a low-slung sporty coupe that was really hard to get into and out of. We should've rejected it, but thought we'd get used to it. In the end, it WAS a fun car to drive, but lacked comfort. Our fault, not the rental company.

I rented a car at this Enterprise and appreciated the punctuality and professionalism. Norman was literally waiting curbside by the time I parked to return the vehicle. Thanks for making the process simple and convenient!

Thank you Enterprise, for your great customer service! On January 13, 2022, my sister had a rental on reserve at the Thrifty rental place. It was after 6pm and we had just arrived, from a long flight. The Thrifty, rental place, pretty much turned us away. They said there was an issue with either my sisters credit card or payment, therefore; she was put on a list! My sister was labeled a DNR( do not rent lol), from the rude girl behind the counter!! Since the customer service office, for Thrifty was closed, we were told by the rude girl behind the counter, and manager that nothing could be done. The office for Thrifty, would not be opened until 9 am the next day! We were told to rent elsewhere! Wow! We went to Enterprise, and my sisters credit card, that she used to reserve a rental at Thrifty, worked fine! The girl behind the counter, at Enterprise, was very nice as well as the rest of the staff, who helped us in the parking lot rental of Enterprise! The next morning the Thrifty customer service line, refunded my sister her money and told her that she, was not on any list!! Thank you Enterprise, for being helpful and not leaving us stranded at the airport, as the Thrifty rental place would have. I will continue renting from Enterprise, and keep far away from the Thrifty rental place!!

We waited in vain at the counter before someone went back into the lot and then told us we had to go back to there. The person who worked at the counter was supposed to leave a sign out. but didn't. That was annoying and a ten minute waste of time. They were great though and let me choose an upgrade. The Volvo SUV I took was way better than any other car I've ever rented and a joy to drive. Truthfully they were really fast at the counter back in the lot, so the experience overall was excellent and I will use Enterprise again.

This location not accepting visa/MasterCard debit cards as form of payment very bad business! They will accept debt cards if you have a return flight itinerary, basically discrimination against locals... I made this reservation over a month ago to take my daughters on a trip for their spring break. When I checked in I was told by the enterprise employee there was nothing he could do for me. I then attempted to get the chosen vehicle from another ABQ local Enterprise location that accepts debit form of payment and absolutely none were available. Extremely frustrating that my family vacation was destroyed.

Got here at 10pm and the computers are down. Second time I've been to this location and second time the service has been terrible. Husband stood outside in the freezing cold for an hour and a half waiting for a car. Got the car and waited another hour and a half just to leave the parking lot until 130am with two kids in the car when they close at 12. They are individually calling credit card companies because the system is down to make sure the payment goes through for each car!? There has to be a better way enterprise. Get it together!

I always rent from Enterprise. In the past, Enterprise has never let me down regarding customer service, car quality, and cleanliness - the latter being especially important during COVID times, especially as New Mexico spikes in cases and I am here to work as an RN. When I picked up my economy car at Enterprise Albuquerque Airport/Sunport yesterday, my loyalty to Enterprise took a nosedive. The car was completely filthy, inside and out. They claimed that it was too cold to clean the outside of the car, which I sort of understood given that there had been a winter storm the night before, but all of the windows were caked with mud and the wheel wells were so iced over that I had to personally chip the ice out so the tires would move. When I asked the agent if he could perhaps clean the windows so I could see the side mirrors and out of the front, he said that it wasn't possible and told me to use the wiper fluid and wipers, although there was mud on the wipers. I had to use my own coat to wipe them clean so they would wipe the windshield enough to see and drive out of the lot to the nearest gas station. After the agent told me this, he just walked away. Inside of the car - there were crumbs on the seat, on the shifting mechanism, and all over the console. There was something sticky smeared on the dash. The agent told me that he *thought* it had been cleaned but wasn't sure. This is a weird, infectious time in the world - this is not okay. I used my entire bottle of hand sanitizer all over the inside just to feel safe enough to drive away. I'm terribly disappointed in you Enterprise.
