Brought my dog who was having cluster seizures. They got so busy but were all still so kind. I was advised to keep my dog hospitalized but then we worked out an at home plan for my dog. It sucks this place is located so far from me considering my dog has epilepsy but driving 30 minutes is worth it. The first time I brought my dog here was for a cut he got and they were all SO kind and informative.

Roadrunner vet was the only vet that was actually open 24 hours when we had an emergency with our boba boy he suffered 2 deep lacerations from what we think might of been a coyote they were very friendly the wait was a long time and it was quite pricey but it’s understandable since there was such a shortage on vets at the time

So thankful for the staff here! Very kind, compassionate. The front desk was great, the providers were great. Thank you for helping my boy Ruger when we were turned away from several facilities in Santa Fe. We are so grateful!

Dr. Freeman is an amazing vet. She was great on explaining my bulldogs injuries and a plan to manage what’s needed. I will definitely trust her to perform his surgeries.

I can't even begin to explain my gratitude for all of those at Roadrunner. It was a Sunday afternoon when our dog was bit and needed emergency help. We called them and the woman who answered was so nice and calm, we made it to the hospital in about 30 minutes and right when we went in they were asking us questions and took our dog all within 2 minutes time. Everyone we spoke to was so professional and kind. We got our sweet girl back about 6 hours later ready to go home. They were extremely clear about pricing, providing an estimate of both a high and low end prior to everything and to our surprise it turned out to be even lower than the low end. For just the short time that I was in that waiting room I told myself I could never do what these people do. They see such awful trauma and handled everything that came in with such efficiency and calmness. I was truly in awe and will be forever grateful for everyone there.

Waited over 3 1/2 hours for my cat Who is an obvious respiratory distress to be seen. Finally left. They said they had not done anything with him yet because they were just “ “monitoring him”. had I known he just sat back there for 3 1/2 hours I would’ve left sooner. Here I am today at the vet in Albuquerque, and he is very critical barely alive in respiratory failure. In response to your post, I left after 3 1/2 hours of monitoring. Nasal discharge? Had you done a exray and seen the cancer through his entire lungs and chest , maybe he would have been prioritized. He sat back there suffering for 3 1/2 hours, unable to breathe. There was no reason for it . I do not recommend you .Update. He died.

Our dog had a medical emergency at 9 pm recently and there was no other veterinarian clinics open or accepting patients except Roadrunner ER. The wait was substantial, but expected for an emergency room. I was just so thankful they were able to see our dog. Dr. Stephanie Williamson was awesome and thankfully everything ended well.

My sheepadoodle got into some chocolate filled croissant dough last night and I was mortified. I called the Road Runner clinic and they walked me through the steps of what I needed to get my boy seen. We waited a few hours as this was not an emergency (understandably so, they’re busy) and they kept my sweet boy overnight. I got a call as soon as I got home last night, saying that these wonderful people could help my Ziggy. This morning I received a call saying that he’s X-rays and blood work look fantastic for everything he ingested last night and the procedure was successful. Thank you to all the staff who were kind, friendly and understanding to this situation. It’s really good to know there are people out here that want to help your babies when it’s needed. I will most definitely bring any of my dogs back here if it’s ever needed.
