The worst bank for sure! They never answer the phone, it’s so hard to use their mobile app.

I was supposed to close on a property today, Tuesday, October 13. I found out from Kevin at IN Bank at 4:30 pm on Friday (the last business day prior to closing) that he had not yet obtained a title commitment and so the closing will be pushed back indefinitely. This is partly due to COVID-related delays, but also due to (1) Kevin's failure to request a title commitment until Sept. 25 despite having begun processing the transaction around Labor Day; (2) Kevin's failure to confirm that a title commitment would be ready by closing; and (3) possibly Kevin's failure to relate to me the fact that the title company is experiencing delays that might affect my closing (not sure yet whether he knew that but I think it's extremely unlikely he didn't). Needless to say I'm looking for alternative financing for the property.

I question this banks actions and think they may be committing fraud. I found out that the Manager in Angel Fire, (Kevin) holds checks for customers he has personal relationships with instead of running the checks thru on the day the bank receives them he has worked out a deal for certain customers that he will hold them for a few days until the customers accounts will clear the checks. I don't know about you, but, when I am given a check from someone and deposit it my bank for use of the funds....I expect that check to be deposited immediately, not five days later due to an internal agreement between manager and customer.
