On HW 478 heading to Las Cruces from Anthony NM.A small mom and pop grocery store. Has a little of everything that you may want to pick up along the way to your destination w/o having to go to a huge grocery store.Has a gas station. But their donuts ? the ones that are fresh …. OMFG!!! ? the best.Mexican products.Always welcoming customer service.A small and cute store.Limited parking.

My absolute favorite place when going East of Cruces to stop for my two vices, Tropical Punch Body Armors and Rainbow Unicorn Bangs! We'll also grab some Almond Breeze for our coffee too to keep away from lactose since we are sensitive to it. When in doubt and you need a boost on highway Berino is always there between Cruces and El Paso when you need it all!

When I explore our "Hidden Gem of the World, Crossroads of North America, anchored by El Paso, Cd. Juárez & Las Cruces!", my primary route is the "International Ft. Hancock - Las Cruces I-10 Bicycle Bypass. This fabulous all-weather/sealed road is just over a hundred miles/160kms moving through rural & city in 2-countries/3-states, and the reason I carry my valid passport with me. While MEXICO does not aggressively require me to show it when I enter that MAGNIFICENT country, a valid passport is one if the required documents for re-entering the USA. Anyway, when I am cycling the Western segment of this great road, I ALWAYS stop at the BERINO MINI MART (about mile marker 5) to rest/re-charge my body with snacks/drinks AND buy the winning mega-millions ticket (sadly, the wrong numbers are always drawn!). I don't need it as my vehicle is (now) an eBikeKit-assisted CruzBike, but there are also pumps available fir those who want to refuel their cars/trucks. The mini-Mart has a plethora of items inside, surprising as it is not that large of a structure. It's just plain a great stop, something I will always do when Northbound on 478 to Las Cruces!
