Arroyo Seco Mercantile is a magical and super cool store in a beautiful historic location in northern New Mexico. Set in the heart of a village in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, it is an incredible place to discover special and useful goods. The shop offers artfully displayed items including Pendleton blankets, Navajo jewelry, amazing antiques and furniture, local trinkets and ornaments, souvenirs, clothing, and history literature. Everything screams New Mexico. Visitors can take a selfie by the mural or the vintage car parked out front. The friendly staff and shopkeepers are great and pleasant. With a one penny gumball machine, it is a must-visit and can’t-miss place to remember a trip.
