L-Akin Service left us high and dry. Our radiator blew outside of Belen around 11 am. We coasted into Akin and the mechanic working (the owner I assume) told us he could fix it within the hour. Excited to hear the quick turnaround we agreed and he got started. Then after about 30-45 min he abandoned our radiator project. Hour after hour we were told, "Yeah, I'll get to it." Well, after my family sat around in the summer heat for 6 hours, we asked why an hour job was now taking 6+. He dropped a box at our feet that contained our dismantled radiator and said, "fix it yourself." Then he closed up shop and left us sitting in the parking lot. We had to tow our car to a mechanic in Albuquerque (the only shop still open at that hour). Honestly, I'm blown away by the fact that this place is still "operating." I'd give it negative stars if I could.

We get our propane filled here they are a quiet type but very nice and fair on pricing.

When I called I needed a price quote for a part, which he needed the information of the car. When I called back with the information he was so rude and unprofessional towards me. I've never felt so disrespected before. I'm never going to this place of business again.

I called the business and whoever answered the phone answered with just a "hello" not stating the name of the business or anything, so I asked if this was Akin towing and he pretended not to know what I was talking about and then proceeded to berate me on mispronouncing the name of his business and then hung up on me. I have never been treated so unproffesionally before.
