“I took my BMW to Mr. Hughes, after searching high and low for someone who worked on foreign automobiles in New Mexico, and thank God, I found Mr. Hughes, I had issues with chassis stabilization, ABS, fuel hose leak and other sensors in my automobile. I only work in New Mexico, and my hitch was ending soon. That's a 9hr drive home. I took it to Mr. Hughes, and when I tell you he got me together, he got me together. I even had him give my car a tune up since I recently hit my 100k mark. The car has been driving phenomenal. I not only recommend Mr. Hughes for foreign vehicles repair. I just know American brand vehicles he will do just as amazing with his repairs. 5 stars, standing ovation, salute to him, YOU NAME IT, TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO HIM, DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE”

“Fairway Auto Clinic: Saved Our Road Trip!
I can't thank the team at Fairway Auto Clinic enough for rescuing our road trip! Our brakes went out after a mountain trip, and another shop turned us away because they couldn't get parts. Fairway Auto Clinic diagnosed the problem (bad brake master cylinder) and gave me honest expectations about parts arrival (luckily, just a day!). They replaced the part quickly and got us back on the road the next day. They even offered me a ride back to my hotel! True lifesavers!
Additional comments: While a waiting area would be nice, there's a great cafe (Blue House Bakery & Cafe) and a Starbucks nearby if you need a place to wait in the mornings.

“Chris Armstrong is one of those rare auto mechanics who is talented, knowledgeable, and HONEST. Many times he has helped me know which repairs urgently need to be made while pointing out other repairs that can wait. It's not common for mechanics do that.Chris charges a fair price for labor and gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Keep in mind that he is a one man operation so he doesn't have a secretary handling calls for him. That said, he always answers his phone or calls back as soon as possible.Over the years of going to Chris as my mechanic, I have come to trust him completely. I have so much confidence in Chris that I have started paying him in advance for the parts AND labor once he gives his estimate. “Chuy and the guys there were quick to help. Didn’t charge me anything to look at my truck and diagnose what was wrong. Next day they had it done! They replaced my wheel bearing and brakes and checked over the truck. Definitely recommend! They were also easier on the checkbook and super nice.”

“We travel full time and tow with our F450. We have been to dealerships from Florida to Alaska. Lesley is amazing! We were headed out of Carlsbad and got a DEF fault error on a Friday evening. I called first thing Saturday morning and she got me in to get the truck checked. I was fixed up and back out the door in less than an hour. Seriously thought we would be stuck a week at least. Thank you thank you Lesley!!”
“I went in for an oil change and received excellent service. Tony in the auto department went above and beyond to service my truck. They were out of the conventional oil normally used. However, he helped me through the process of purchasing the oil from Walmart and still did the oil change instead of turning me away. He was very friendly, had a positive attitude, and was a pleasure to meet.”
