White's City Gift Shop is an interesting and expansive store located near the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The shop has a semi-museum-like feel, filled with unique and cool items, including taxidermy animals, statues, and animals on the roof and outside. It offers a variety of souvenirs, from typical keepsakes to handcrafted jewelry, knives, and accessories that are unique to the area. Visitors can enjoy fun photo opportunities with statues and enjoy a well-cared-for shopping experience, as staff often go out of their way to wrap souvenirs neatly, adding a thoughtful touch. Aside from shopping, the location serves multiple functions. It is also the campground office, with outside public restrooms, a post office with a blue mailbox, and a laundromat with varying hours. The store allows boondockers to dump tanks and refill water for a fee, which was appreciated by travelers with large RVs. There is a small grocery store on-site, though it offers limited food and supplies, so visitors are advised to buy essentials, including drinks and alcohol, beforehand from nearby stores. Despite occasional short interactions with staff, the overall experience is positive. The gift shop provides a wide selection of jewelry and souvenirs at much lower prices than park shops, making it a great spot for last-minute gifts or souvenirs. The store’s unique items, photo ops, and convenient amenities make it a worthwhile stop for travelers exploring the area.
Fun little stop right outside carlsbad caverns. Yall stop! Its a fun little place. I do not recommend the fudge though sorry. It tasted like they thickened icing from the tub....

Store is so cool. Lots of items to choose from. Priced real good in my opinion. Set in a beautiful location. Staff are friendly. Fuel is always less here than in the nearby town. Clean restrooms.

They have an attached laundromat facility which is great for long trips. Equipment worked very well and the cost was very reasonable.
