What an experience it was .. the church was unlike and read about all the miracles. There is a tiny restaurant next to it which serves yummy food

Chimayo might not be for everyone and its simple beauty has to be appreciated to enjoy and take in the religious experience. This is a quiet, humble place to reflect. My family and I have been there a few times and enjoy the quiet moments inside the historic chapel and the gift shops.

If you are here on a Sunday do plan on attending mass. It’s like stepping back in time. Learn of the miracle of the holy dirt here also, and take some home with you. The priests were very enjoyable too! Great sermon!
