Tooth of Time Traders is a store located at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. It is a great resource and a fantastic store for preparation before a trek or hike. The store has a great selection and tons of high quality, reliable camping gear. It carries literally anything Scouting related and camping related, including backpacks, hiking boots and shoes, clothing, and travel-sized toiletries. You could arrive with no gear and be fully outfitted without overpaying, as they have competitive prices. They also have plenty of souvenirs to look at, such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, hats, keychains, and geodetic markers. It is a nice way to stay cool and a great place for last-minute items before heading out. There is also a sale yurt next door. Many visitors enjoy walking around the store and bringing home souvenirs from their time at base camp.

Great store with tons of gear. Happy they had small travel sized options for chaffing, deodorant, and other toiletries. Lots of clothing options. Very happy to have this before your hike
