15 Main St, Clayton“We were SO blessed to find this little treasure of a place when we were stranded in Clayton during a terrible blizzard. The town was shut down and hotels were sold out but the owners at Eklund were so gracious and kind. This property was a beautiful retreat after a very scary day. Our family is so thankful to the owners for taking such good care of us. The hotel is lovely, a beautiful piece of history. Thank you for welcoming us during an emergency situation, we will be back to visit again for sure.”

“This is, hands down, the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Clean, attractive rooms, an entire bathtub! Incredibly affordable. Staff were very kind and hospitable — Stephanie was an absolute angel and arranged for our check in even though we arrived very late in the night. If I ever pass through this area again on another road trip I will try to stay here again.”
